WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama's winning coalition from 2008 has crumbled and his core backers are dispirited. It's now Republicans who stand to benefit from an electorate that's again craving change.

Nearly two years after putting Obama in the White House, one-quarter of those who voted for the Democrat are defecting to the GOP or considering voting against the party in power this fall. Just half of them say they definitely will show up Nov. 2, according to an Associated Press-Knowledge Networks poll released two weeks before Obama's first midterm elections.

*** Stupidity is no excuse.***

Being misled by sophisticated propogandists happens daily.

BO was marketed to a trusting public. The headline suggests they have learned an expensive lesson.

I have hired and fired many employees with sparkling credentials and references...I trusted and verified - but was wrong.

When reading the article i was hard pressed to figure out how the right had an advantage. If two thirds of McCain voters were sure to come out and vote but half might vote dem then it would sem we’re in a heap of trouble.

I truly have a hard time believing how many voters on each side are switching sides according to this article.

_76 percent of Obama voters say they will support the Democrat in their House district, while 8 percent plan to back the Republican and the rest are undecided.

_71 percent of McCain voters say they will vote for the Republican in their House district, while 9 percent plan to get behind Democrats and 20 percent haven’t chosen a candidate.
So a larger percentage of McCain voters will switch than Obama voters. More undecided on the right,20% than on the left,16%.
I’m supposed to believe any of this nonsense?

Pelosi/Reid and the rest of the Democrats in Congress share the blame in the so-called voter ‘enthusiasm gap’ ... a term which is more disinformation.

There never was as much ‘enthusiasm’ for what they were doing in the first place, so how can there be a ‘gap’

“Yet in a reflection of broad dissatisfaction with politics, just as many people who backed Republican presidential nominee John McCain are either supporting Democrats now or still considering how to vote.”

I knew lying Liz wouldn't let us down. There just weren't any whoppers in the excerpt.

I know how to post an article. I've been doing it years longer than you.

The source is Yahoo News.
