A lesbian couple who say they were asked to leave a North Carolina shopping center after sharing a kiss and a hug met with the center's property manager on Saturday. "We welcomed the opportunity to sit down with the women and offer our sincere regrets over last week's incident," said George York, president of York Properties, which manages the Cameron Village shopping center in Raleigh, North Carolina. The incident took place Wednesday at Cameron Village. Caitlin Breedlove told CNN Raleigh affiliate WRAL that she and her partner were being affectionate, but appropriate with one another, when a security officer asked them to leave the shopping center. The officer told the couple that they were being inappropriate and that "nobody wants to see that here at Cameron Village," Breedlove said. The couple asked to speak to the officer's supervisor. Dan Palatucci, who manages the Flying Biscuit restaurant at the shopping center, where the couple had eaten before the incident, told WRAL that he also voiced concern about the officer's actions to Cameron Village's management. "We really just don't discriminate at all," he said. "We love everybody that loves our food." On Saturday, York said his company is planning additional sensitivity training for its security personnel. ...... I wouldn’t want to have to explain to my children what was going on, but these days with so many homosexuals portrayed on TV and what they are taught in public schools, I suppose they know. Disgusting. I guess they’ll get a lawyer and sue. Our culture is definitely in decline.
If you watch the video it’s obvious she was out looking for publicity and for an opportunity to get the ACLU involved in this. And now they are getting national attention.
I am sure that people hug and kiss in greeting all the time, old friends and such.

MANY people who are for gay rights have NO IDEA what’s involved. They will find out the hard way.
This incident is just a shot across the bow. (When, by the way, was the last ime you saw a man/woman couple hugging and kissing in a store? It’s not equal rights they demand but special dispensation to do whatever they want. It ain’t gonna be pretty)

The mall may have a rule that forbids (excessive) displays of affection by anyone. I don’t know what these women were doing, but it must have exceeded whatever the mall’s limits were.
Otherwise, you’d have (heterosexual) teenagers out there rolling on the floor at the food court. Could get kind of nasty.
But I guess it’s different if you’re gay. It reminds me of when California turned over its highway rest stop bathrooms to gay men to use as their primo cruising ground. Insane.
People of either sex and any inclination should have to behave properly in public, and that means not forcing passers-by to watch them doing things that exceed public limits.
