On ABC's "This Week," Meghan McCain called Delaware GOP Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell a "nutjob."
Christine O'Donnell's campaign just emailed me the following response from campaign manager Matthew Moran:
Christine overwhelmingly won her primary battle against the establishment candidate, so Ms. McCain's vast experience in politics and running for office probably won't influence many Delawareans of any age to listen to her latest rant. Her parents are truly a class act, and am certain they brought her up to be more respectful of a possible future colleague. As Christine rises in the polls, and repairs the damage done by the establishment with their false statements, the campaign will continue to focus on jobs and the out of control federal spending."

I read the other day that someone here nicknamed her “Nutmeg” McCain.
I am still chuckling about that. As so many people have already posted; clearly she has grown up the center of attention in her little world and now as an adult she has found that the media will give her attention if she bashes conservatives. She has no relevant background or remarkable accomplishments. She is merely a tool for the moment.
Amen....she would NEVER be invited to be on any show in a SANE world.

Regan was a master of handling these sorts of things with humor. A great Reagan like response would have been to simply answer, “Oh, that’s just Meagan being Meagan. Us ‘nutjobs’ don’t get too upset by what dingbats say about us.”
Ok, I’m confused. I admit I haven’t seen a lot of Christine O’Donnell, since I live in Texas, but what I have seen/heard she has not done or said anything “nutty”. The Witch thing is just stupid, and her opinions based on her religious views are just that, opinions. I never heard her say anything about creating mandates telling others how to live their lives. So just what is so “nutty” about her? She didn’t go to hah-vahd? She hasn’t been a politician since she was 2? Coons seems more like a nut job to me.
