I think that was Redlich, the Libertarian. He came out of left field to attack both Cuomo and Paladino. At least he went after them both.

Oh I meant Cuomo was trying to sound like a Tea Party candidate. And the guy attacking both Cuomo and Paladino shows that Paladino has a shot.

Actually, I’m glad Redlich got the HUD thing out there. Cuomo...I agree with you...he was faking being one of us. I hope people realize that a vote for Cuomo means more of an Obama impact on NYS.
I noticed that the GZ Mosque issue did not come up.
I think they avoided the GZ mosque because it's a hot topic. But the homosexual marriage thing was tailored for Paladino because of the fracas.

Paladino was a boob from start to finish. We kept waiting for him to come up with anything that sounded like a real idea. He didn't.

No, it was carried by NY1, but sponsored by Cablevision.
But before the debate aired, NY1 said they have set aside time for a debate that they WILL sponsor, between Paladino AND Cuomo, but neither candidate has responded so far.
It’s too bad that we disagree but we do. Cutting taxes 10% and government by 20% is an excellent closing statement.
He is a City Councilman, his wife a State Assemblywoman.

Were you surprised that Paladino had the last statement? I was. Last is the best spot.
What kind of ideas were you looking for. He mentioned a number of them like school vouchers, elimination of a business tax, restructuring the MTA....
Yes, I was surprised. Last is the best position.
Carl said a lot of good things, although he’s done better with his delivery. Hell, Ronald Reagan had delivery problems in his first debate in 1980. Reagan admitted later that he was overthinking it. IMO, Paladino did the same thing tonight.
He may have but I also think that he was nervous. With the press eating him lately he had to use tonight in the best way he could.
Sometimes C-Span does replays later.
I totally agree. He had to concentrate on perceptions, in addition to delivering his message.

I hope so. I wonder who we can contact to demand a debate between the two of them only to make our voices heard?
