He only takes votes away from Cuomo
If Paladino does nothing else but drive R’s to the polls Nov 2 then we can take some congressional seats
If not then NY deserves to get what Obama is going to do to us, with Cuomo applying the vaseling and MSNBC telling everoyn to “lean forward” (or is it “bend over”)
He had an almost national stage at his disposal. Instead of forcefully and clearly detailing the reasons that we should make him CEO of NYS he answered every question with a re-statement of the problem rather than a detailed solution. He wasted the first 2/3 of every 60 or 90 second slot this way and then added a broad "I'll fix it" statement almost as an afterthought.
His appearance was dishevelled, his answers were disjointed and his thoughts disorganized. I wish that this were not so but it is.
I'll check off his name but it will be a vote against Cuomo and I'll be holding my nose.

It’s an election and so politicians lie. Paladino could have mopped the floor with the mafia son (mommy’s dad was in the club) if he had a clear vision and an organized presentation...but he didn’t and so little andrew wins by default.

Gambling agreed that the format was bad, and not much time could be given to anyone, being that there were 7 candidates. He wants to see a one on one debate between Cuomo and Paladino.

Well you stand alone because you want a polished politician and we have a stable full of them that we’re trying to get rid of. And every article that I’ve read on the debates said it was a lousy format.

Just because you disagree does not at all mean that I stand alone. Nobody whom I know personally and whose opinion I respect was impressed by Paladino last night.
And, I have known plenty of people who, while not being polished politicians, were fully capable of coherently framing an issue and detailing their proposed plan to deal with it...Paladino did not come close.

That's fine. You and your friends expected too much from the format. That wasn't a debate, it was a circus. Hopefully Cuomo and Paladino will accept the invitation that just the two of them debate. Without the clowns and time restrictions. No one thought that the debate was a good format.

No one could fulfill them in that format. There are high expectations and then there is unrealistic.
Regardless of the silliness factor each candidate was allotted time enough to articulate his position. The commie from the Green Party snd the Libertarian both stayed on point in spite of the clowns sharing the venue. Cuomo, even though his performance was just that, a performance, did not get knocked off track. It was Paladino alone among the serious candidates who scored zero hits.
Also the newspapers that hate Paladino have all said that the debate was a lousy format.
The more I think about it the more I believe Andrew Cuomo had been given the debate questions in advance.
His answers were just too well scripted and practiced to be off the cuff remarks.

...and he will be nothing of the sort. He is more liberal that BOZ, and will bankrupt this state despite all of the fawning Establishment media.
