Onyx, I adopted it when I saw the spunk in Sarah pre-'death panels'. Funny thing, I lived in Anchorage, Alaska in '65, after the big earthquake on Good Friday '64, and moved to Fresno, Ca the following year. I loved living in both places though the weather change was pretty extreme.

Fresno- hot and dry in the summer, thickest fog you've ever seen in the winter. Anchorage- high of 83 in the summer, cold (-20) and dark as night in the winter.

Funny how both of these places have produced individuals with sound values many are willing to follow, values unique to this country and essential to freedom. Since I lived in each place for a year or so each, I can see how it happened.

Fresno will always remain special to me for reasons of the heart. Alaska is the Last Frontier and it's vastness and wildlife are overwhelming- it's a mind-expanding experience. So, there you have it: heart and mind. Two places I'll forever be thankful for having the pleasure of visiting and living.

Seeing Jim and Sarah in that pic is reassuring- because I know that things are headed in the right direction now. It's like the stars are lining up and worry will soon be a thing of the past. I could use some of that- the little ones who follow us are tops on my list. I don't want to guess about their futures, I want to be certain they'll inherit the finest country earth has to offer. No substitutes, no compromises, just the best.

LOL. Yeah, it’s likely racist. I’m glad she’s feeling better and it’s always good to be home. That helps.

I wonder whether Juan will blame NPR and Marxism for the loss of his job? It’s one more job lost to Obama’s policies...lol.
