The latest CNN/Time Opinion Research Corporation poll shows a tight race for governor in Florida, with Republican Rick Scott receiving 49 percent of the vote and Democrat Alex Sink with 46 percent. Scott's modest lead is one point greater than the same survey found in late September.
The poll of likely voters also looked at Florida's increasingly predictable Senate race, in which Republican Marco Rubio now leads by 14 percentage points. The spread was 11 points in late September. Rubio has 46 percent support, compared to Gov. Charlie Crist with 32 percent and Kendrick Meek with 20 percent.

Somebody send this poll to Nate Silver. Id love to see the reaction at 538 to this.
I like to read the comments because every single poster has this phrase in some form “Nate, I love you methodology, but the poll on ‘x’ state is not right because I dont like the outcome.”
I find it hard to believe that 46% of the eligible Florida voters want Sink, but then, this IS a CNN poll and I expect it to be skewed heavily to the Democrat. I can’t wait for 11/3 to see how many actually voted for Sink (if we will ever be able to tell how many real votes she gets . . . .)
This CNN poll is actually pretty close to the Rasmussen poll. The Rasmussen poll has Scott at 50% and Sink at 44%. And also has Rubio at 50%. So the two polls are within the margin of error of each other.
Lots to like about prospects in FL, but damn, Scott is a pig in a poke.
how much of a positive “spillover” effect will Rubio have for other GOP FL candidates? A 14 point lead has to have some sort of effect on other races???
He’s still better than Sink who is pro-Obama.
If Sink is elected, she could kill Florida’s lawsuit against Obamacare.
Let's hope so, but it's a lousy choice we get.
I thought most any R would be an easy vote to cast, but this one is just horrible.
I hope there are other choices on the ballot, 'cuz I just can't vote for the lesser of two evils. I quit doing that 10 years ago.
