SNIPPET: "CIUDAD JUAREZ A woman was found beheaded in this violent city on Mexico's northern border, the Chihuahua state Attorney General's Office said Wednesday.
The body was discovered wrapped in a blanket, with the woman's severed head beside it, on the corner of Cañaveral and Centeno streets in Ciudad Juarez.
Though beheadings are not rare in Mexico's increasingly bloody drug war, this is the first case of a decapitation of a woman in Chihuahua, the AG's office said.
Women make up more than 10 percent of the more than 2,300 people slain so far this year in Juarez, Mexico's murder capital, which lies just across the Rio Grande from El Paso, Texas."

As a proud owner of a Chihuahua, I was amused to read an article by someone who went to Chihuahua to look for a Chihuahua dog.
And found none.

(I love BULL MARKETS . . .)
The number of murders occurring in California for 2009 was approx 1900. California’s population is roughly 37million compared with Juarez’s population of 1.5million. So CA has 25 times the number of people (population) but 2/3 the projected number of murders projected for Juarez. And California has the 9th highest murder rate in the US.
And to think that I safely walked accross the border at night from El Paso to Juarez only 10-years ago...
El Salvador 1980 has come north to Mexico.
Where do you think it goes NEXT???

When the first head rolls in the streets of America, maybe someone will think to recall our oh so wise leaders.
There was a woman, once, long ago, who lost her head over me; however, in time she got over it.
We will eventually lose the use of Interstate 10 through El Paso. Just so we can prop up an old dead donkey. Losing use of Interstate 8 through Arizona right now.

By my reckoning, it’s long past time for something like Los Pepes.
With the demise of Escobar, and the running-out of FARC from Columbia, it’s become a lot more peaceful there.

Pretty soon the illegal aliens will be recharacterized as "refugees" so that they can be welcomed instead of deported.

The bottom half of the picture is El Paso, Tx. The University of Texas at El Paso is in the middle. I-10 is barely visible running across the photo just above UTEP, and the Rio Grande River is the narrow green strip just above I-10. The entire top half of the photo is Juarez, Mexico.

All I need to know. Build the farkin' wall already and mount an Active Denial System every quarter mile.
Yesterday there was a story about the “bravest woman in Mexico” who at age 20, became the only person to apply for the Chief of Police position in a suburb of Ciudad Juarez.
I hope this is not the same gal.

Since the article states the AG of Chihuahua reported this yesterday, I don’t think it’s the same girl who became police chief yesterday.
I wouldn’t bet against it being a message by the cartels.
