Pollster to Fiorina: Boxer Can’t Get Past 45 Percent
National Review ^ | October 21, 2010 | Jim Geraghty.

Posted on 10/21/2010 2:30:33 PM PDT by libstripper

Here is what pollster the Tarrance Group is telling the Carly Fiorina campaign:

The race for the US Senate in California is an actual dead heat, with both Fiorina and Boxer standing right at forty-four percent (44%) of the vote. Six percent (6%) of voters are voting for one of the other candidates, and 5% are undecided . . .

It is also important to note that Boxer’s negatives are fully institutionalized to the point where she has never once broken the 45% level in terms of her ballot strength, and there are a “hard” fifty-three percent (53%) of voters who believe it is time for a new person.

Just was where the Illegals support is at 39% and falling. Let’s hope it is a major traffic jam that takes 8 hours to un-jam. That ought to piss off a lot of voters in that dimoKKKRAT area.

I note with interest that the pollster is THE TARRANCE GROUP.

The Battleground/Tarrance Group Poll for me, is the GOLD STANDARD of polling, having been the MOST ACCURATE the past 3 or 4 election cycles ( even more accurate than Rasmussen ).

Also, former Clinton adviser, Dick Morris made this observation as a long time poll watcher and pollster -— If a big, well known name like Barbara Boxer or Harry Reid cannot get past 50% as the election day nears, it is a sure sign that there are too many UNDECIDEDS.

In Morris’ experience, the undecideds often break by at least, 80% in favor of the challenger if the well known incumbent is still at 45%.

That Boxer and Reid, with their well-known names, cannot at this point in time reach the 50% number, is a bad sign for these Dems.

Be of good cheer. The last few days we’re getting all these new polls which supposedly show that the Dems are closing in many Senate races..like Sestak has gained 10 points in a week on Toomey. This is all BS...the MSM and the Dems attempting to depress the GOP and excite their own base..they’re playing with the polls..changing the assumptions on Dem/GOP/Ind..or on likely voters, etc..in an attempt to steal a Senate race or two..and keep control...Look, in the House, we see the number of Dem seats now “in play” increasing every day..noway that would be happening if the Dems were gaining in Senate races..just remember, everytime the House has switched, the Senate has also...and this year will NOT be an exception..

But at least ten percent of the democratic vote is vote fraud. That won’t show up in the polls.

ROFLMAO!!!

The Tarrance Group were Rudy's pollsters -- who convinced him he'd not only win Florida (Remember the "Florida strategy", lol) but the nation and would be our President.

How'd that work out for ya?

ROTFL----Rooty kept sayin he was "saving himself" for Florida even as he entered---- and lost---- every primary extant.

In Fla, he campaigned 63 days straight and came in a distant third.

He spent $65 Mill and got one delegate...... that he shared.

See here :

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/Commentary/blog_11_8_04_1018.html

Where RealClearPolitics surveys the most accurate pollsters of the 2004 elections.

As you can see : Battleground/Tarrance was DEAD ON in their polls, closest to the final result.

I’ll dig up the other surveys for the other election years.
