Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan deserves the death penalty for perpetrating the Nov. 5, 2009, Fort Hood massacre. He has earned this penalty not only for the scale of his crime - the worst domestic attack on a military installation in American history, killing 13 and wounding 32 - but also for the purposeful way he planned and executed the assault, his jihadist motives and for the fundamental betrayal of the trust placed in him as an officer in the United States Army.
Witness testimony at the ongoing Article 32 hearings in a military court at Fort Hood paints a harrowing picture of Hasan as a heartless, ideologically motivated killer. The judge, Col. James Pohl, has asked for testimony from all the wounded survivors of the attack. Hasan was heavily armed, with over 300 rounds of ammunition, of which he expended at least 146. He did not fire randomly but carefully chose targets with a laser sight before firing multiple rounds into his panicked, unarmed victims. He showed no mercy to them, and deserves none himself.
Maj. Steven Richter, who testified via webcam from his current post in South Korea, recalled telling the police, "He's one of us." But more accurately, Hasan is one of them, an al Qaeda-inspired Islamic extremist who prefaced his assault with the jihadist war cry "Allahu Akbar!" His fateful moment was facilitated by a string of intelligence failures and oversights motivated by an overweening and persistent sense of political correctness in the military establishment.

fellow muslim obama will pardon him...
How can any mulsims in our military be trusted?
Zer0’s brazen but I doubt that brazen, there’d be repercussions I’d bet.
Wrong. He killed 14. The Washington Times editors should be ashamed of themselves.
I would like to see him put in a halfway house, in the back bedroom where all he can see outdoors is the brick wall next door, where he will lay there for the rest of his sick 30-40 years bedridden, without radio or tv. In other words without any stimulation except the bugs crawling across his ceiling. The only human contact he has is some druggie to wipe his butt and feed him gruel.
You’re correct and thanks for pointing it out.
kill him SLOWLY
Well he’s stuck in a wheelchair for the rest of his life already. Let’s just water board his sorry ass every day. No point hanging him right away.
I’m on a crusade to see the humanity of this murdered child recognized.
I hope others will join in raising a chorus of objections every time someone does what the WT editors have done here.
Put him on an ant mound!
Indeed he did and that 14th might have been deliberate. I heard RumInt just today, at an off post eatery, from a solider, that Hassan deliberately shot the woman in the stomach. The bullet went through the fetus and then cut a major artery in the mother. According to testimony at the Article 32 hearing, she remained conscious long enough to scream "My Baby My Baby". So she knew.
I'll pull one of the triggers myself if they'll reinstate the firing squad. I'll even provide my own rifle and ammo. I'd even be the only shooter, but I imagine the line for that position will be very, very long.
To me, him getting raped for the rest of his miserable life with no chance for parole, is sweeter than the quick release of death.
I recommend public execution at Ft. Hood
He is a Wahhabi Mohammedan from the same Mosque in Virginia that Mohammad Atta and his killer came from. Al Queda is absolutely Wahhabi sect Sunnis and no Wahhabi should be in our military to kill any more of our fine brothers and sisters. It is all about Wahhabi.
You know, it just occured to me that Nidal Hasan will never be executed for his crimes.
A country too intimated by muzzies to burn a Koran will certainly never have the bones to put a muzzie to death.
Never, never, never.
Castrate him, then shoot him
