I think you overlooked the lib on Fox that gets the most air time: Shep Smith.

Just wondering if all or most of their listeners went elsewhere, would it make a real difference? Or is taking away taxpayer dollars the only way to make then squeal?

Taking away their tax dollars would be less damaging than taking away their tax exempt status. NPR is a political tool of the Democrat party and ought not be treated as a charitable non-profit organization. That goes double for Media Matters.

Oh heavens. Don’t do this.

Its not about him being black. It’s about a publicly funded organization kicking someone out for a commonsense opinion.

Don’t pick up the dirty weapons of the left.

He wasn’t fired because he is black. He was fired because he is affiliated with Foxnews.

Indeed!

I forgot him. He also represents the gay community. Fox News is more diverse than all the others!

Juan made the deadly sin of questioning the automatic, knee-jerk, pertified ideology of NPR and those that support it. For that, he paid with his career. Those that are unwilling to tow the “Party” line are expunged from the NPR “Politburo” so quickly by that body as a sign that Juan's questioning might spread like a virus amongst his co-workers and supporters, so he had to be cut out from the Socialist body for fear of some kind of cancerous spread. It will be interesting so see where he goes now and which network he will work for. Any guesses? FOX? I am enjoying that scrutiny that NPR is coming under. Barry will soon throw his weight behind them.
