Poll watchers cannot use cameras and cell phones at most polling places. But, you could have still have citizens stand at the place the electioneering is permitted where the media can stand. And that point, you can bring in any recording device.

In July 2003 Jackson Lee stated that the 2003 list of hurricanes was too “lilly white” and sought to have more African-American sounding names on the list. Jackson Lee said that she hoped federal weather officials would “try to be inclusive of African-American sounding names”.
