This could be something big. COPD ranks fourth in all cause mortality, IIRC.

Sounds promising. My mother has COPD & emphysema, 24/7 oxygen since 2/2007, I wish it was definite and available to help her. Her lung function is way below 30% and I fear the near future for her.

Interesting. I wonder how the results using bitter taste receptors would compare with the CFC inhalers that the FDA and EPA removed from the market because of the Kyoto Protocol.
