Has she tried caffeine? A medical doctor said Caffeine contains a molecule similar to that found in lung-inflater medications used to treat asthma. People say their breathing improved by drinking coffee. Some threw away inhalers. NOTE: Use brewed, caffeinated type.

I drink a LOT of coffee. If this is the case with me, I’d hate to see what would happen without it.

I have recently had the best success with Symbicort.

I have moderate (at times severe) asthma. And I too drink alot of coffee. I agree, I would hate to see how I feel/react if coffee does help; and if I went decaf.

I am controlled by Singulair(night); Allegra (morning); Proventil as needed. I would dearly love to not have to carry an inhaler 24/7.
