Start off by sentencing Manning to life in Leavenworth when convicted.

The government also should be waging war on the Wikileaks Web presence. There are a variety of means whereby technicians could render inoperable the sites distributing the classified information. Wikileaks could respond by using alternate sites, but those could be targeted as soon as they came online. Wikileaks has a small staff and limited resources. Relentless attacks on the servers and sites dispensing this classified information would have a debilitating effect... Perhaps we should contract this out to Mossad or whoever did the number on Iran. For those people, this would be a piece of cake.

Relentless attacks on the servers and sites dispensing this classified information would have a debilitating effect on the leakers' morale and help widen the fissures that already have appeared in the group. That is exactly what those people want...In their mind it gives them legitimacy. The best thing to do now it to disable USB ports and remove R/W CD in all military computers. Cut off the source.

Not sure this situation qualifies as cyberwarfare. Didn’t Manning just pass the information along — an inside job?
To: Loyal Buckeye
That’s my understanding. The little bast**d ripped off the docs and passed them to Wiki.

Send in the CIA or Delta to kidnap his skinny little white euroweenie-ass and slam him into solitary confinement in Gitmo til he can be tried for his crimes against us.

First things first. Add espionage to the charges against Manning and pursue the death penalty. The threat of a death penalty will result in Manning singing like Lady Gaga.
Second, Wikileaks has evolved from an altruistic movement of many people for shining sunlight on repressive regimes to an anarchistic, narcissistic endeavor of a single person who's self-declared goals is to "end two wars."
I say we capture Assange and airdrop him into Iran.

Nah, start off by leaving Manning's hanging carcass in front of Capital Hill till the birds and bugs are done scavenging the body. After that, deposit his bones in the nearest landfill.

Correct, he does deserve the death penalty in my view because he has certainly caused the loss of life in Afghanistan. I can’t bring myself to believe they’d pursue the death penalty though.
You’re also correct, AA. Besides Assange there has to be others and we should come down on all of them.

I am convinced that the Obama Administration is feeding this stuff to Wikileaks.

I don't want to be taxed to feed and house him. Amen! He isn't worth it.

They should send the Seals to collect these guys and take them to an offshore prison..like Afghanistan. Try them there for violations of Afghan law and hang them.
At least they should send someone to kill them.

On the cover of the file was stenciled WILDFIRE, and underneath, an ominous note:
THIS FILE IS CLASSIFIED TOP SECRET.
Examination by unauthorized access is a criminal offense punishable by fines and imprisonment up to 20 years and $20,000.
When Leavitt gave him the file, Hall had read the note and whistled.
“Don't you believe it,” Leavitt said.
“Just a scare?”
“Scare, hell,” Leavitt said. “If the wrong man reads this file, he just disappears.”
