After trailing Democratic rival U.S. Sen. Barbara Boxer for months in fund-raising and spending, California Republican Senate hopeful Carly Fiorina is closing the money gap, both parties said on Tuesday. A Washington-based Republican Party affiliate, the National Republican Senatorial Committee, said it was sponsoring a $3 million TV ad campaign in support of Fiorina in the campaign's final week. The money would pay for an attack ad characterizing Boxer as "self serving" and "ineffective" ahead of Tuesday's midterm elections, the group said.

Unfortunately, money doesn’t necessarily translate into votes.
What a lovely article. It claims the NRSCC ad is “an attack ad,” and the article is inaccurate in its description of recent polling. I know of only one recent poll that has Boxer up by more than 5 and that is the intentionally misleading LA Times/USC poll. Rasmussen has Boxer up by two with a shrinking lead. Another poll that came out today has Fiorina up by 4.
How ‘bout catching up in the polls race. Seems a bit more important a week out.

I don’t care much about Suffolk U and PPP. The Fox News poll, however, is troubling. It was a pretty large sample, and the poll consisted of 34% Republicans, 40% Democrats, and 26% other. That does not seem unreasonable for California.
I believe she will win also. I find it a bit distasteful that Boxer is bringing out the big guns while Fiorina is in the hospital from breast cancer complications.
