Recent public opinion polls of likely U.S. voters suggest the Republican Party will replace the Democratic Party as the majority party in both houses of Congress following the mid-term election on 2 Nov. Republicans also expect major gains in state and local elections.
In an attempt to avoid defeat, Democratic Party candidates are trying to rally their supporters, including a loyal base of African American voters. Volunteers are on a mission to get African American voters to the polls in Baltimore, Maryland. They are canvassing this neighborhood and others across the mid-Atlantic state of Maryland during the early voting period ahead of the actual election day.
Keith Haynes is running for his third term as a Maryland state lawmaker. Besides campaigning, he wants people to get excited about the election. "We are actually encouraging people to get out and vote now. So if he's in town he can take advantage of early voting today."
Haynes also said, "During the primary election a few weeks ago, we had one of the lowest voter turnouts that we have had in the state of Maryland and we are trying to boost those number up for the general election."

I really wish Democrats would stop lumping all blacks into a single, homogeneous group. Granted, the vast majority votes for Democrats, but Thomas Sowell, Alan Keyes, Clarence Thomas, Condi Rice and others do not.
They’ve tapped this well and it’s dry now, but keep trying to get more votes from this group, it won’t save you, but it will give you something to do.
Yeah, this one’ll be a little tougher on the dems, now that ACORN’s out of the election-fixing business.

I remember Obama’s immaculation, and the excitement and hope that many African Americans had then.
They really, really expected that their lives would be appreciably better under Obama. Obama and the Dems fed that hope.
It didn’t happen, I don’t know how many blacks will cross over next week, but many have to be crestfallen with what they actually received.
I can’t see the colossal turnout again, particularly considering Obama isn’t on the ballot and just such weak links like Sestak, Brown and Reid to come out and vote for.
This is how I know the Democrats are in big-time trouble: when your political “Maginot Line” is comprised of a class of people, a majority of whom would refuse to vote for your opponent even if you were caught robbing a bank, you’re done.
They’re setting up the basis for voting fraud.
Democrats have been excellent at getting the black vote in the past because they’re so good at keeping them dependant on gummit and uneducated about the true history in regard to civil rights and freedom. Conservatives will never get the black vote. Too many generations of brainwashing.
I guess since they have lost the white middle class though some how I do not think the numbers will be equal?
It will be difficult for the Demonrats to move the percentage of black Dem votes up from 95% to 98%.

With a black president, black voters “don’t do” midterms anymore.
They won't be. National elections are decided by white swing voters. Where they fall on election day, victory follows. Every last black can vote Democrat and it won't mean anything if white swing voters trend elsewhere.
Jesse Jackson, the race hustlers, said publicly today that blacks hold the key to victory this election cycle, stating that there are more blacks than Tea Partiers. I think he is badly mistaken and only wishing this was so. Given that there are only 12% of our country self-identify as blacks, and that a good percentage of those are of legal voting age, and a smaller percentage of those are registered to vote, and a still smaller percentage of those will actually vote, compared to all the pissed off patriot Americans who are champing at the bit to vote, including a good percentage of those are blacks, I would say we are going to run-up the score on the liberal-leftist come November.
Jesse, you can go back to Chicago and continue doing what you do, which is rabble rouse for the penny cup, and cavort with your teenage staff. Worthless!
Getting out the Black Vote might help the Democrats in Senate races but I can’t see how it would help in some of the gerrymandered House districts.

Good points all. It is a crime what the Dem’s have done to our serving military. A congressional investigation should be immediately done on whom is responsible and they should go to jail. I believe that the the coming tsunami can’t be undone by the crooked ways of the Democrats, with God’s help.
Just once, Just once...I would like to hear someone from either party say that the “white vote” is key to an election....afterall we make about 70% of the electorate versus 10% for blacks.

Black has been the key to DemonCrap victory for the last 40 years.
If they ever stop voting for them en masse, the DemonCraps are permanently toast.
Blacks can’t sway many House elections as the majority of blacks live in Safe Dem districts anyhow. They have the potential to sway some Senate or Governor’s races in some states, e.g. PA, but there’s nothing to indicate blacks are engaged in this election to any significant degree.
