A lady, Rita, was going home in a vehicle with a friend. They witnessed a single vehicle accident with a truck. The truck had driven into a pole. They were concerned for the driver.
The driver was out of his truck acting distraught and crying. Rita and her friend, Olga, offered assistance. Olga took off to find help. Rita stayed behind. She did not feel threatened. Rita said the man was crying. I don't know if she could see any injuries on the man, but she found her cell phone and attempted to call 911. The man appeared drunk.
I'm not sure if Rita is Hispanic, but Boyles says she has a Hispanic last name. She doesn't have any trace of an accent. Rita also mentions during the interview with Boyles that she speaks Spanish.
At the point where she is making her 911 call the man becomes irate. He starts to call her names in Spanish and physically assaults her with a hard punch to her face and kicks her when she is down. He tells her that he will be deported if the police come (fat chance).
The call goes through to 911. Rita is probably in shock at what is happening so she stays in the area but away from the man. She is bleeding from her face. The police arrive some minutes later.
When the police arrive they ask very few questions. They don't ask for the man's ID in Rita's presence, but they do ask for Rita's. The tell her to get to walking. It's late at night, she's alone, and been assaulted and the police tell her to take a hike.
Police come the next morning to take a report. The police man is rude. Rita's arm is hurting from the assault, but the policeman makes her fill out the report. He also initially asks her friend Olga to take some pictures. After questioning this 3 times, Olga says he finally calls for a police photographer to come out. The ladies said he seemed annoyed at having to do this.
At the insistence of her friend, Rita goes to the hospital the morning of the 25th. She's reluctant to do this because she's a single mom, unemployed, and without health insurance.
Boyles is in the process of getting these women lawyers--maybe Caplis and Silverman who are lawyers, but also do a show on the same radio station in the afternoons. He also has Fox news reporter, Julie Hayden, on it.
This may get good. Boyles doesn't let up. He's about the only one that has been an advocate for Robert Wallace. If you are not familiar with that story, I will post a link later.
Robert Wallace will be Boyles program this morning, probably in a few minutes, if anyone wants to hear his story.

DEFINITELY! American citizens are treated like crap and illegal criminals are given a pass. Betcha he doesn’t have to pay for any of his medical bills.
I don’t know about Darfur, but we are slowly becoming like a third world country—criminals are being given a pass that’s for sure.

A little background: Robert Wallace shot at two illegals

Robert Wallace said the illegals were trying to run him over. Now his RV has been torched. For the shooting Robert Wallace was charged with four counts of attempted murder. The illegals and what they did didn’t seem to be much of a concern to the prosecutor.

It’s a shame that this honest, law-abiding elderly American citizen has to be put through something like this. Peter Boyles has been a supporter of his the whole time.
Now, I”M MAD, I’m going to VOTE and I’m going to FLUSH the crap out of Washington DC, and all State Houses..
They are destroying our country in ever facet. It’s a full out, constant assault.
Someone just e-mailed Peter saying that they do accident reports. Some people are suggesting that the police maybe thought she was a passenger in the truck and told her to get to walking to give her a pass. The person that e-mailed said if the police thought she was a passenger they would have asked her questions. They would have wanted to know where she was sitting. If she was wearing a seat-belt, etc. The police actions don’t make sense.
Got into a minor fender bender (my fault) with an illegal alien with no license, an expired registration and no insurance in Danbury CT.
Cop who arrived at scene, was annoyed at me for causing the accident. After the cop filled out his report, the illegal got into his car to drive away so I reminded the cop that the driver was unlicensed and about to drive an unregistered, uninsured vehicle. This time the cop got furious at me.
The next day, I called the Danbury PD to complain to a superior officer about the cop's behavior. The lieutenant I spoke with told me that his department was told not to send up or forward any complaints regarding illegals as they will be thrown out of court. He commiserated with me and told me that he has children and realizes that they play close to streets where unlicensed, uninsured drivers drive with impunity.
This is frickin’ awful, but not surprising. We have similar policies here in Denver. The cops don’t want to hear it. I think many of them are between a rock and a hard spot. The left is killing our country.
Some callers are calling in saying the story sounds fishy. The part that bothers me, and some callers, is why Olga left her friend Rita alone there to go find help. Rita did have a cell phone. The women sounded honest, but it’s hard to say. That part of the story doesn’t sound quite right and Peter does agree with the callers. Show’s over so I’ll try to update as more info comes out.
I can't absolve the police of blame. If so many of them are frustrated by Denver's sanctuary city policies, why don't they say something? They have a powerful union (which ususally endorses Democrats) to protect them -- why the hell don't they speak up? Imagine if a number of them got together and said that yes, they ARE told not to call ICE on illegals. That would be incredibly powerful. They're in a better position than most to do something about the problem, but they say/do nothing.
It would be great if something like that would happen, but I know its got to be hard to put your neck out like that. Someone would have to be the first one to speak up and that’s always hard to be the first one to go up against the system. The same could be said of the Border Patrol. Why aren’t more of them speaking up. Why didn’t all those people that heard the Ft. Hood shooter making some really odd comments speak up. Cops, border patrol, military men aren’t generally wimps, but fear is holding them back. The left has infected every system with corruption and political correctness. Right is wrong, wrong is right. All I have to say is thank goodness for talk radio and hosts like Peter Boyles that are bringing some of this to light. Between talk radio and us joining together by voting some of this scum out, maybe things can start to slowly change.

One detail. One measly, tiny, smallish detail. :) Overall, I think I did relate the story pretty accurately though.
