ST. LOUIS, MOThe United States Attorneys Office announced today that a St. Louis man was sentenced to two years of probation on charges of voting in two different states during the 2008 general election. Tarrell Campbell, 34, St. Louis, appeared this morning before United States District Judge Jean C. Hamilton. In addition to the two years of probation, Campbell was ordered to pay a fine of $250, pay a $100 special assessment, and ordered to participate in drug testing and counseling. Also, as a convicted felon, Campbell is no longer eligible to vote.
According to court documents, Campbell had been a long-time registered voter in the city of St. Louis when he moved to Edwardsville, Illinois in June of 2007, and then registered to vote in Illinois. As the 2008 general election approached, Campbell voted in October in Illinois, under that states early voting procedures, and later voted in the City of St. Louis on election day November 4, 2008.
The matter was referred to the U.S. Attorney's Office by the St. Louis City Board of Elections. The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. Assistant United States Attorney John Bodenhausen handled the case for the U.S. Attorneys Office.
... Riiiiiiiiight
Tarrell...St. Louis...I’ll take a WILD guess.
Vote fraud should be a Capital offense. It’s a direct attack on both the body politic and the US Constitution. It’s perfectly appropriate to hang anyone convicted of it.
Amish name.........
Agreed. People don’t think through what a primal form of sedition vote fraud is in any republic or democracy.
with the utmost of deference to those of you who “live” there, St. Louis is without a doubt the nastiest, smarmiest place I’ve ever been. Even more so than Philly.
Unbelievable.
The only voter crime likely to be pursued by the DOJ would be against a white who voted for McCain.
Well hey, they fined him $350.
If this crime had the death penalty then New York and Florida would become de-populated.
I’ll bet he’s already early voted this year.
Maybe he can move to MN and be head of the “Felons for Franken” campaign of 2012.
We need to amend the constitutional definition of treason to include election fraud.
Just the effort to get the amendment introduced and passed would highlight in the public’s mind exactly how serious election fraud is. At the moment, too many people see it as little more than a joke. Look at this guy, he got a suspended sentance and a $250 fine. Woo-hoo!
Why do these stories never tell us who they voted for?
I don’t see how it’s protected information any more than someone passing forged checks for felonious amounts of $ —they still have their name in the paper in the police blotter.
I’m surprised he wasn’t sentenced to 100 hours of Community Service with the New Black Panthers in Philadelphia...
I guess all voting fraud is a state controlled thing so you know any blue state will protect their illegal voting abilities as much as possible.
There needs to be a few life sentences imposed to scare the sh**
out of these cheating low-life because sooner or later we’re going
to be forced to doing what third world countries do....or accept communism or
the monotheistic religion of Islam.
10 to 20 in a federal lockup for voter fraud.
Minimum.

The black entitlement ghetto of North St. Louis might as well be on the Moon, for as much as it has to do with the rest of the Metropolitan area.
How much of the Greater St. Louis area did you visit when you were here?
He was caught voting twice. I wonder how many times he voted where he did not get caught.
