Like Californians, New Yorkers Suffer From Insanity (Cuomo Video)

Benjamin Franklin is credited with defining insanity as the action of constantly doing the same thing over and over again yet expecting different results.  Well with that understanding, it is my opinion that both California and New York voters are suffering from an extreme case of insanity.  In California, Democrat Jerry Brown is holding a slight edge over Republican Meg Whitman 48% to 42%.  Now I do believe that both Whitman and Paladino can win, if Republicans vote with the same enthusiasm they had during the primaries. However, if these numbers hold then it looks as if Jerry Brown will be the next governor of California. That, my friends, is insane, because Jerry Brown is the man who admittedly put California in debt by spending the surplus Ronald Reagan left.   California has never climbed out of that debt because of the insane voters who continue to re-elect the same liberal Democrats who think like Jerry Brown does.  So along with keeping both state houses under the Democrats' control, they could very well re-elect the worst governor ever to have held the office. THAT IS INSANE!

Meanwhile, over on America's coastline where the sun rises, New Yorkers are ready to do a similar thing by putting Andrew Cuomo in the governor's mansion.  So, like Californians, New Yorkers also suffer from insanity.  After all, it was Andrew's father Mario who screwed the state up so bad that a virtual unknown Republican candidate, George Pataki, defeated him in his bid for a fourth term.  Well, now Andrew is running for governor against Carl Paladino.  Unfortunately, 51% to 37%.  This does not bode well for the Big Apple.  Even if you ignore the pathetic shape of New York that was left by his father when he lost to Pataki in 1994, Andrew himself has his own serious issues.  He is directly responsible for setting things up, along with Kirsten Gillibrand, Barney Frank, and Christopher Dodd, that destroyed the housing market, and thus sent America into an economic tailspin.

As Bill Clinton's Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, Cuomo was the prime mover behind programs that destabilized Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae.  Barney Frank and Christopher Dodd were running these two lending institutions when George Bush tried to fix things.  Unfortunately for Americans, Frank and Dodd stood in Bush's way and so the corrupt.....

I live in a state that has many illegals who vote, and home grown idiots who continue to show the symptoms of insanity as they do in New York. Why else would they continually re-elect leftist who are bent on enslaving them for life? In the primaries turnout was up 400% in some precincts.

not up 400% over last off-year election, up 400% from the last PRESIDENTIAL election.

Paladino supporters are 'broken glass' supporters. As in they would crawl over broken glass to make sure cuomo does not win.

I talked to a dumbell democrat at Geico about my insurance last night. He said he was a "Cuomo Guy" (proudly). I asked him if he was gay... stunned silence? I said it was just because Como was for gay marriage... I asked him if he knew that Cuomo was head of HUD and ignited the housing melt down and ruined the entire US economy... more silence...

then he said "well I have a different view..blah blah.." I said There is no VIEW- look it up on the Internet if you are not too stupid you can find video of him sayings so (I mentioned Free Republic).

At the end he said "I'll have to look in to that and think about it"

ALL Paladino supporters are not that wishy-washy. You can turn them IF YOU GO OUT AND DO IT!!!!!!!! WE CANNOT LET CUOMO WIN!!! Get at least ONE OTHER PERSON to change his mind, and we win!

I wish someone would point out to the folks in NYS who live off the dole that, unlike the federal gov’t, NYS CANNOT print money.

Without taxpayers, there aren't taxes.

And there won't be money to keep all those folks in the style to which they've become accustomed.

To all those folks who plan on voting 'Rat because they think it'll keep their bennies coming, you're killing the goose that lays the golden eggs, guys.

Your only hope is a healthy economy and you won't get that voting 'Rat.

To all those folks who plan on voting 'Rat because they think it'll keep their bennies coming, you're killing the goose that lays the golden eggs, guys.

Many of these voters in both Ca & NY today don't even understand the analogy of the golden goose, let alone the issues at hand.

They are beginning to, but remember, by 2012, even many of the unemployment benefits will have tun out. Then they will see Obama as the culprit and he will loose in a bigger Teanamai then the Democrats are going to on Tuesday of next week.

Like Californians, New Yorkers Suffer From Insanity

The residents of those two states deserve the government they vote for.

But, let's look at the positive side of things for those two states, and, really, for the rest of the country.

Both of those states hold a huge number of electoral votes, oftentimes, those two states determining the direction of the presidential elections.

Now, with the insanity of re-electing democrats who are only likely to keep things as bad as they are or making things worse, things could improve for the rest of the country. With the insanity of bigger government and higher taxes and more and more businesses and more and more people moving out of those two states because of the insanity, those two states will be downsized and their power will be diminished in elections.

For the time being, let them continue to destroy themselves. It's detrimental to the states and the citizens of those states, but they deserve what they vote for.

And, the rest of the country can only benefit when businesses migrate out those states and into other states, and when people move out of state, they also bring their money. Hopefully, they don't also bring with them their insane politics; the people most likely to move out are the ones that didn't vote liberal or insanely. Let the liberals be the only ones remaining in those two states, and let them finish them off.

If you want to know why Cuomo is not on TV at all, because HE IS SUCH A TURNOFF- He has a whiny lispy voice and goes um ahh um ahh every 2 seconds...

People that know him hate him. King Andy won’t even open a door for himself- he will actually stnad there and not move until someone opens the door for him. A close insider told me “Nobody likes that kid” like 20 years ago...

I know what Paladino has said. You don’t need to whitewash what he said. He is angry. I am angry. Everyone in NY has a right to be angry because of all the CRAP that NY has to go through.
But there are consequences to letting the anger overtake you and it doesn’t help during an election campaign.

We have a childish legislature that locked Republicans out of the chambers and makes the rest of the state pay for NYC.

Personally, I didn't vote for Obama, and I don't deserve him, and I don't think even the people who voted for him deserve the damage that he's subjected them to.

But, we were talking about California and New York. That's quite a different story, don't you think?

When it comes to California and New York, those states have been run by mostly liberals in the last 40 or so years, even if, once in a while they select a governor who is not as liberal (RINOs, to me, are not real republicans nor conservatives).

When it comes to national politics, there is a much better chance of republicans getting a chance to run things; that's not even possible in NY or California. Not with the current make-up of the voter ranks which are mostly liberal. In national elections, we have a much better balance between liberals and republicans/conservatives.

Now, regarding a direct answer to your question...

I say yes, I and everybody else deserves what we got with Obama. Too many people decided to stay at home in the 2008 election, and too many people who are not liberals or democrats, fell for the stupid "hope and change" nonsense from Obama and the democrats, and even worse, they voted for a person simply because of his skin color, and, according to many of them, we were overdue for minority or black representation in the presidency. Stupidity begets what they deserve.

So, again, yes; the general stupidity of 2008 gave us what we got and we deserve it.

Now, it's time to correct the mistakes of 2008 and 2006.

There are 9,000,000 people in NY city. There's about the same number in the rest of the state. Throw in cities and the rest of us get outvoted. This is also the national pattern. Get it?

And we haven't even factored for vote fraud.

Every election year I tell conservatives people to vote. I tell Christians to vote. I tell them the truth and they agee with me. They say they will vote.

A week or so after the election I find out that many of them did not vote. They make all types of excuses as to why they will not. In California I get what I get for leaders because many conservatives and even Christians do not vote.

I should move to Texas because I know that they will not vote year after year even after i hound them

By not moving to a place where they care about actually changing things I get the government I deserve.

I finally decided to take my activism to the next level. Now I will even drive them to the polls so the will not have an excuse. They will vote this year, and even then I will get the government I deserve.

That is because of my past inactivity of not heading this disaster off at the start. Many of us sat back and allowed the schools to teach our children what they wanted to teach them ,even if it went against our beliefs. Many conservatives have never gone to school to face their childrens teacher or principal. Can you imagine if each and every conservative parent went to school once a week to keep the teachers honest?

It is time we put the fear of God in those who would lead us to the gas chambers. No more, no more sitting back and saying oh well. This election is the beginning, now it is up to us to keep the fire going so that we will not just get the government we deserve, but the one we want.

You, personally, may not deserve the jackasses, but the residents, in general, deserve what the majority voted for. There is a difference, you know.

And, hey, I know where you you're coming from because I too felt trapped when I lived in NY City, but, I figured out that the best way to get back at NY was to move out, and I eventually did. I left NY back in 1987.

Like I said before, I didn't have to take it and I decided that the best I could do was to move out. By staying, you are supporting the liberal habits of high spending and high taxation, and supporting the many who won't even bother to go to work.

That's been an ongoing problem in liberal states and liberal strongholds for a long time, and I'm pretty sure you knew that. I knew that and decided to move to a state where there was a lesser chance for fraud, the attempted theft of the elections of 2000 notwithstanding (that's a hint about where I moved to). You many not be able to overcome the millions who are against your political philosophy in your state, but you don't have to take it for the rest of your life.

My church group is fired up about voting. They always have been. They even sell baked goods and coffee at the polling place (actually it’s a “donation” not a charge). We don’t have a problem with not voting.
