2 f15’s escorting commercial jet from Yemin to JFK ...
I quite agree. I am far far from being a 'wine snob', I drink what I like and reviews be damned, but there has been a marked decline in Beaujolais quality in the past 15 years. Scandal, adulteration, chemical enhancement, rush to market, etc., have all contributed to this.
But, I must also add, I have always regarded Beaujolais as a 'fun wine' as I would a Sangria or any table wine or house wine. Any notes I've taken while tasting have always been later unreadable dur to spillage!
Drink with food and enjoy! (chilled...of course)
Fun fun and not so games . . .
“Al-Qaida bomber leaves behind a fingerprint”
Published May 24, 2011
SNIPPET: “Investigators have pulled a fingerprint of Ibrahim al-Asiri off the bomb hidden in the underwear of a Nigerian man accused of trying to blow up a plane over Detroit on Christmas Day. Counterterrorism officials say the explosives in that bomb are chemically identical to those hidden inside two printers that were shipped from Yemen to the U.S. last year.”

SNIPPET: “”There is intelligence that he has unfortunately trained others and there’s a lot of effort to identify those folks,” Pistole told the Aspen Security Forum in Colorado.
Asked by Reuters afterward about the nature of that intelligence, Pistole said Asiri was believed to have trained a small number of people. He added that the intelligence was “credible.”
Believed to be in his early 30s, Asiri, who survived a U.S. drone missile attack in 2011, has drawn scrutiny for his skill at fashioning hard-to-detect bombs and hiding them in clothing or equipment.”
“Al Qaeda Threat: Officials Fear ‘Ingenious’ Liquid Explosive”

SNIPPET: “The officials said the new technique is believed to have been developed by the Yemen-based al Qaeda affiliate al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), home to notorious alleged bomb maker Ibrahim al-Asiri. Al-Asiri is suspected of being the mastermind behind several devious explosive devices including the underwear bomb and surgically implanted body bombs.
Al-Asiri was listed today among Yemen’s 25 top terrorists, who the Yemeni government said were planning to carry out operations in the capital, Sana’a. The Yemeni government is offering 5 million Yemeni rials, or $23,000, for information leading to the capture of any of the terrorists.”
SNIPPET: “In addition to the new liquid bomb, a U.S. official said American spy agencies are concerned the attack could use what some call “Frankenbombers,” suicide bombers who could carry an improvised explosive device sewn into their body cavity.
Sunday on “This Week,” Rep. Dutch Ruppersberger, D-MD the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee said the intercepted communications called for a “major attack.””
