KUHNER: The Soros empire
The Washington Times ^ | October 28, 2010 | Jeffrey T. Kuhner

Posted on 10/29/2010 8:35:43 AM PDT by opentalk

...Mr. Soros is the sugar daddy of the Democratic Party and the modern left. His net worth is more than $7 billion. He is one of the richest and most influential men in the world.

Almost every major liberal organization, think tank or media outlet has been the beneficiary of Mr. Soros' largesse. The Nation magazine, Mother Jones, Media Matters, MoveOn.org, NPR and the Center for American Progress - all together they have received tens of millions of dollars from the financier. They serve as front groups and propaganda vehicles to promote Mr. Soros' brand of transnational socialism.

..Mr. Soros is a liberal imperialist who seeks to erect one-world government. He is a rabid anti-capitalist. He favors high taxes, lavish public spending, welfare statism, massive redistribution of wealth to the poor and a tightly controlled international regulatory financial system. He despises nationalism and the West's Judeo-Christian heritage. His aim is to usher in a new global order - one based on scientific materialism and progressive social engineering.

He champions amnesty for illegal immigrants and erasing our borders with Mexico and Canada. In his view, religion, nation-states and the family are repressive, antiquated institutions that must be abolished. He is the enemy of democracy and America.

... Mr. Soros is a hypocrite. He claims to want higher taxes on the wealthy and stricter corporate regulations. But his investment fund is registered in the Netherlands Antilles, enabling him to dodge income and dividend taxes to Uncle Sam. His investments and money are sheltered in offshore accounts - away from the clutches of the Internal Revenue Service or the watchful eye of the Securities and Exchange Commission. In 2002, he was convicted in France of insider trading.

Just had a thought while reading the snip.
If Dims win, Soros will sit back and do nothing.
If Conservatives win, he could adjust some investments
and collapse our currency and economy.
Can someone speak to this?

“He has poured hundreds of millions into the former communist bloc. The former Soviet empire has thus become the Soros empire. Mr. Soros has worked behind the scenes to destabilize and influence governments such as Croatia, Slovakia, Serbia, Georgia, Kosovo and Ukraine. In the process, he has plundered countries’ natural resources.”

One more thing....why isn’t this guy dead? You would think these Nations would not stand for this....

The second page of article talks about his history of manipulation of currency in 1992 in Britain. He is betting against the dollar now.

The author calls for an investigation into Soros activities by the new congress.

Beck has been covering Soros and the dollar to call attention to what harm he may cause.

I believe Soros gets involved in politics globally to hurt specific nations so that he can reap financial rewards from playing the currencies or other ‘bets.’ Destruction is easier and quicker than construction — it’s easier and quicker to tank the dollar than to make it increase — and shorts are typically higher paying bets if they make good. I think he’s a sociopath.

Seems to me Soros attempted to manipulate Russian currency and they raided his offices and grabbed his computers. When GOP gains one or more houses, they need to immediately launch a criminal investigation against Soros, and dig hard and deep into his activities. His SOS project alone is cause for an independent investigation ( George has noticed that state SOS “investigate” voter fraud, so if you control them, you can bury election sins by your party) think Al Franken. Soros must be punished, and hard. He’d look good in cuffs and an orange jumpsuit.

Then I have another thought.
After he collapses our dollar, he will move into position
as king of the world. We have had our sights on the wrong
socialist? Obama is a Soros puppet? I have been listening
to the same shows and have done some research on him.
I don’t think the U.S. Congress is powerful enough to do
anything to him. Let’s say the new Congress begins an investigation.
To what end? He says, “Screw you Amerika!!!”
What happens when he pulls stock out of
our dollar? Congress can’t do anything about it.
That’s when bad things will happen, IMHO.

I think he’s a sociopath.

from the article

--Mr. Soros is ultimately an amoral megalomaniac who is detached from reality. He refers to himself as "the pope's boss." He has admitted to having messianic impulses. "I fancied myself as some kind of god," he once said. ... "It is a sort of disease when you consider yourself some kind of god, the creator of everything, but I feel comfortable about it now since I began to live it out."

In a sane world, Mr. Soros would be given an appropriate public platform. Like this:
Historic gallows at Ft. Smith

Fear of backlash may be the problem.

Some time ago I jotted down in a reply my take on George Soros after he had written another book:

The arrogance of George Soros is all of an elegant and polished type. He has even contrived to set down his epistemology for all to read. This is the supreme arrogance. He purports to know how we know what is real and not real. The Gospel according to Soros. But to establish his credentials he did not rise again on the third day, he just made a lot of money.

A self-made man of normal dimensions of vanity would content himself with boring us all with accounts of how he did it. Soros' conceit swells beyond mere vanity, he is not content with blowing hard about how he made his money, he wants to tell you how to think, and what to believe, and above all, to tell you what is really real. He not only knows how others deceive themselves but he himself possesses the true insight into reality. His pendulum theory of investments and markets is a symptom of this solipsism. His book is turgid beyond description and self-indulgent beyond endurance. But it must be so if he is to make a universe out of clay.

So Soros must play God, the oldest and basest sin of all. Hitler, Stalin, and Mao all played God and, interestingly, they all had their own epistemologies. Hitler had his myth of the Aryan superiority. Stalin his cult of the individual. And Mao his infallible wisdom. The historical examples are endless. The point is that these villains justified their power lusts not on power alone-rather they all created their own worldview.

Ultimately, these epistemologies all come around to the man who would be king. Ann Coulter has identified it: they think they are gods. Hitler chewed the carpets, Stalin murdered out of paranoia, and Mao did little girls. These grotesqueries are far beneath Soros who would probably never even wittingly split an infinitive but he is compelled just as the others to play the highest stakes game of all in the temporal world. And therein lies his danger.

Sometimes I just sigh, when I contemplate about how much good could be accomplished in this world by means of less than half an ounce of led.

Mods -I'm not advocating murder, but seriously a single random stray shot could save lives economies and liberty.

Soros may not be the anti-christ, but he is invited to all the same parties.

He had a big reaction to Fox and Beck after Glenn was questioning if Soros is manipulating the dollar and talked about his past history of currency manipulation.

They went after sponsors, fired Williams from NPR and announced a million dollars dedicated to attacking Fox.

Seems the topic hit a nerve.

Or simply by absent-mindedly stepping into traffic without looking both ways ...
