Skip to comments.Jon Stewart’s rally raises questions about comedian’s role (Coca-Cola sponsors HuffPo buses)

Jon Stewart and Glenn Beck have a few things in common. The liberal and conservative cable hosts each described their respective rallies on the National Mallwhether to "restore honor" or "restore sanity"as nonpolitical events. Neither walks in lockstep with Democrats or Republicans. And both often claim to simply be entertainers, while at the same time never shying away from weighty subjects like the economy and terrorism.
Now the Huffington Post has lined up 212 buses leaving from the Mets Citi Field at 6 a.m. Saturday. (The buses will be equipped with snacks and drinks donated by Pom Wonderful, Stonyfield Yogurt and Coca-Cola.)

Did they do the same for the Beck rally?
“Pom Wonderful, Stonyfield Yogurt and Coca-Cola”
I have no idea what Pom Wonderful is, but I’ll have no more Stonyfield yogurt nor Coca-Cola.
Hmm...guess I bought my last Coke Zero yesterday. Water is better for me any way.
Repubs should sue Comedy Central for equal time.
I’m at work or i would do it now. Ping for later though. Too bad I do enjoy coke products. Pepsi is sweeter though.
And drink Pepsi - it tastes better anyway.
WTFcNow their last rally was a flop and so they try again for another flop. LOL
So now the huff post gets with massive corporations and then the next day they will say these same companies are in bed with the GOP.
Hey FOX how about covering this and reporting this crap .
Also what is with the left and their endless supply of freebies, free food, free drinks, free travel, free shirts, free signs?
Can’t these people actually figure out what to say, how to get there etc?
NO COURSE THEY CAN’T
I don’t remember Glenn Beck furnishing any buses!!!
*** Did they do the same for the Beck rally? ***
Surely you jest. But, here’s a chance to dish back some of the left’s tactics - boycott these businesses and their products. I don’t mean organized boycotts, just personal preferences. Tell your friends.
I’ve been using my money as a way of protesting for many years. I wish more conservatives would do the same.
I’m on hold with Coke right now.
So this is going to be a NYC rally in Washington, DC?
How odd these people are.
I’m switching to Pepsi...screw Jon Stewart...the only reason we bother with yuck-yuck funnyman is because he draws a million or two idiots and he’s on a crusade against Beck. I heard government employees are also going to stage a “Government Doesn’t Suck” rally..
what did you press after you dialed the main number.
I’ve done 2 and now on hold.?
Hate to inform the pepsi drinkers in here but they are a huge advocate of the homosexual agenda. Lefties are in all the major companies.
Everything is great in liberal land. :)
You little people need to stop whining and pay your fair share of taxes.
have you called?
I’m on hold after pressing 2
Press 1 for English. Then press 1 for some contest they have going on, 2 for everything else.
