This is about how close to the election as the GW Bush DWI arrest report was released. If that announcement cost Bush 0.52% of the vote, then it cost him the so-called “popular vote” in 2000.

Why would you play your hand again.... before knowing what the threat is? If there is something of a terrorist act about to happen, wouldn’t make sense to deal with it behind the scenes, to gather intelligence? To gather up suspects... if there are any?
