Is this good enough to beat Boxer and Brown?

From what I’ve been seeing, a lot of “independents” are just DemocRATS who are too ashamed to call themselves DemocRATS.

Yes, if 70% of independents vote for Fiorina and Whitman.

Yes, it's possible. We shouldn't overlook the emergence of a strenghtened conservative bloc in the OC with the Vietnamese votes.

Nobody wants Brown. He has the unions & the percentage of morons who vote for anything with a D after its name. And of course there will be widespread fraud. But Meg could pull it off. Her ground game is supposedly excellent & well organized. I got to meet her the other day—she's much more attractive than she appears in photos (I suspect that's intentional) & just exudes personal warmth. I have started to like her. I would have voted for her anyway, but it was nice to meet her up close & personal.

As for finally being rid of Boxtard—same deal. Unions & morons.

It's going to be harder than ever to get demtards out to vote.

I can't make any predictions, but we have a serious opportunity this time to be rid of some real garbage.

How do these numbers compare to the early voting in previous elections?

No.

Granted, not all registered voters actually vote, but this is true across the board. However, the 13 percentage point advantage gives the Democrats a nice cushion for times when a larger share of their voters don't participate in an election.

As for California independents, like independents everywhere, some lean left, some lean right, some are truly swing/centrists, some will almost always vote minority party such as Libertarians and Greens.

You have to bear in mind that Democrats are almost always better at forming winning coalitions than Republicans. The reason is that self-professed "real" conservatives seem to genuinely believe they need no one else but themselves to win elections, so they happily alienate anyone who doesn't march in lock-step with their viewpoints. Being so certain and self-righteous about their notion that only they vote on principles, the hard right happily loses elections rather than learn the arts of persuasion, compromise and coalition building.

Thank you for your encouragement. Even if we don’t sweep it this time, the fact that a cretin like Boxtard is having to fight for her job is encouarging. Things are so bad here & will get so much worse if Moonbat gets back in, the state will be ripe for the plucking by 2012.

What percentage of deceased, illegal aliens, or convicted felons?

Well, if all the counties are run like Orange County, zero percent.

My mother died July 23 and a few weeks later the election materials arrived. The county, without any input from the family, had already removed her from the rolls and she received nothing. I was and am impressed. Of course Orange County is very conservative so they are efficient and don't cheat.

Agree — we could pull this off — but it would be excruciatingly close! If only more people remembered Jerry Brown, Part I, back in the 1970’s —

ALL of my in laws are Democrats, they are voting Republican this time. Two of them called me for recommendations on how to vote on the propositions and judges. I was happy to help. The one aunt is very active with the church and is helping many of the seniors with this election :)

So, you're going on record that your dear departed mother was neither an illegal alien nor convicted felon...correct?

I can only assume that if the county election board is efficient in one area, they are efficient in others.

Of course, we all know what they say about assuming. ; - )
