COLUMBUS, Ohio A handful of McDonald's employees in northeastern Ohio received handbills in their most recent paychecks suggesting they vote for three Republican candidates.
"If the right people are elected we will be able to continue with raises and benefits at or above our present levels," the insert said. "If others are elected we will not." >P> The fast food chain's corporate headquarters in Oak Brook, Ill., quickly condemned the action by Canton franchisee Paul Siegfried, saying it violated company policy. Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner, the Democratic elections chief, said she was launching an investigation because the action appeared to violate Ohio election laws.

Why is this wrong. Is this McDonald’s a non-profit that is legally barred from doing this.
Hey, wait a minute. Only Democrats are allowed to do that.
How dare this employer look out for the best interests of his employees. That’s digusting. /sarc
Didn’t Mickey D’s receive an exemption from Obamacare previously?
As a Democrat would do, change the subject.
Sometimes I get encouraged about our country’s future when I see something like this.
Specifically, there is an annual contest at Texas A&M University calling for the most appropriate definition of a contemporary term. This year’s term was “Political Correctness.”
The winner wrote: “Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.”
Hey ‘RATS! You want fries with that? LOL!
So it was a franchise owner, the corporate office is fully behind obama...... and the behinds of homos.
Years ago I had a boss who made our lunch time coincide with Rush Limbaugh’s TV show and he watched it religiously in the break room every day. LOL
LMAO!...perfect...I’ll be stealing that one for sure...
There is an AWESOME new development... the "Question Mark"....
It makes your statement make SO much more sense.
Send him a "thank you" card.
No can do! Must be Union and pro-democrat! Also must hand out free food to employees who wear I voted Democrat stickies. Extra if they voted 2x!
Undoubtedly you will find black churches all over Ohio violating state election laws in favor of Democrats. They are never called to account for this anywhere .... no one wants to hear screams of racism
The SEIU does it all the time and uses dues paid by republicans and independents.
Here’s your change
So the left says a company cannot make SUGGESTIONS for whom its employees should vote. But a union can steal dues for PAID POLITICAL ACTIVITIES without members’ permission. Sure that makes sense!
Moreover, with the current economic hardships going on, if these continue less people will be able to afford to eat at McDonalds, meaning that some jobs here may no longer be needed. MAYBE YOURS.
How about phn102 starts using the “Question Mark” when you quit being a jerk?
Yeah, yeah, the unions do it .. give employees (including those employed and paid by member companies) time off to work phone banks, attend rallies, drive voters to the polls, etc., but an employer can’t do it. That’s different. We get it.
There is nothing wrong with that.
Yes, writing like a child is awesome. Promote it some more.
And BULLY for the franchise owner, Paul Siegfried!! Since when is stating a helpful fact illegal?
Quite a surprise, this story coming from Canton...keep up the good work, Paul!!
The leftists can pound sand.
Is the Dem opposition to this a confession that they will stop raises and benefits? I didn’t see any party labels but I’m sure the Dems recognize who they are.
So what's your point gunner.
It would, if I was asking a question.
IT’s a private company and can put what it wants on its checks.
They should have offered school kids free food to campaign for them. It’s alright for Barbara Boxer to solicit the schools to offer extra credit for politicking; it’s gotta be alright to politic for a happy meal.
I would say you had a great boss, one who listens to the Great Rush.
Even if they did support Republicans, I am TOTALLY against this!
