Stanley Kurtz's new book, Radical-in-Chief: Barack Obama and the Untold Story of American Socialism, is a detailed look into the forces that shaped Barack Obama. Kurtz, senior fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center, has written a highly detailed and definitive account of the president's conversion as a radical activist; he provides minute and abundant evidence confirming the long-disputed label of "socialist" that has dogged the president since his undergraduate days. Kurtz describes Obama's ideology as "stealth socialism" and called his views "Barack Obama's secret." In the preface of the book, Kurtz writes, "The president has systematically disguised the truth about his socialist convictions, sometimes by directly misrepresenting his past and sometimes by omitting or parceling out damaging information to disguise its real importance."
Kurtz begins his account in 1983, presenting evidence that Barack Obama, then a senior undergraduate at Columbia University, attended several annual sessions of the "Socialist Scholars Conference." Kurtz describes the shift of strategy that took place at that meeting to turn the socialist movement from its goal of "nationalization" to community organizing as the best means of promoting the movement during the Reagan administration. Kurtz details the evidence that Socialist Scholars conferences influenced Obama and refutes the president's claim that his embrace of community organizing was an "impulse." Instead, in Kurtz's fully documented account, the Socialist Scholars conferences provided the future president with a vision for transforming America, as well as a way for black Americans to be the driving force behind that transformation through the efforts of the Midwest Academy, a training institute that Kurtz credits with Obama's political ascendancy.
Many of the "class warfare" themes that dominate President Obama's current rhetoric are rooted in that period of his life -- such as the "haves" v. the "have-nots" and big business v. the poor.

I fully understand where military loyalties are supposed to lie. I am talking about naked corruption.
I truly believe that the majority of the officer corps would refuse to take bribes and would resist blackmail. But there are always “weak sisters” who will succomb to pressure. Those are the careerist pukes who worry me. If the Obamanoids can identify which ones they are and maneuver them into positions where they could help engineer a coup, then I’d say we’ll all be in big doo-doo with a civil war as the probable result.
I appreciate your comment on the NSDAP and SA - folks seem to overlook the linkage between personal and public morality.
Sidenote from this former Russian interpreter: It is true that in the run-up to the revolution the “Bol’sheviki” were a minority, but they chose that name for propaganda purposes - Bol’shevik really means “majority.” There was a party of Men’sheviks - which does mean “minority.”

THE FINAL SOLUTION TO THE USA DOMESTIC ENEMY PROBLEM IS TO DECLARE A POLICY OF ZERO TOLERANCE FOR MARXISTS IN THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT (CONGRESS),AND HOUNDING OUT OF OFFICE BY WHATEVER MEANS NECESSARY THOSE MARXISTS THAT ARE CURRENTLY IN POWER (About 120 of them).

And I do not make the almost universal FR assumption that the modern US military leadership has the same degree of integrity that we remember from our own military experience. The “New Army” is a whole new world annd the priorities the leadership displays PUBLICLY are appalling enough (view Gen. Casey and his PC reaction to the Ft. Hood killings)-—I can only imagine what must go on in private.
I believe that 90% would tell the Obamanoids where they can stick their bribes and/or blackmail; that still leaves enough to command sufficient manpower to surround the Capitol and WH while the Marxists re-write the Constitution with impunity.
How to stop it? Let the ALL know that we are watching them, down to the Colonel level. Shedding the light of day on even the worst traitors might serve to remind them of where their true loyalties SHOULD lie and whom they are really supposed to be defending.
And, of course, follow your prescription of cleaning house electorally.
I’d guess your conclusion that there are 120 real leftist devils in charge on the Hill is about right. Just remember that “Bolshevik” referred to a minority in 1917 Russia. And you can add to that cadre of 120 all the advisors, czars, bureaucrats, and assorted other Marxist punks whom Obama has managed to collect. Not examples of “manly men,” perhaps, but they could become the nucleus of a commissar corps to run the country if the coup is successful. Nothing built on corruption and lies could possibly last very long-—just long enough to put America and probably the rest of the world through a Hell on Earth for a while.
In the leftists, we are dealing with the worst cynics in the world-—I maintain that calls for a bit of cynicism on our part as well: we need to be careful to not IDEALIZE our heroes in uniform while continuing to hold onto our civic IDEALS. That;s how we can keep striving for a nation of “laws and not men.”
