Too Big to Fail, the Board Game
Too Big To Fail Game ($27 or thereabouts) ^ | 2010 | (Family owned business)

Posted on 10/30/2010 10:05:29 AM PDT by combat_boots

Too Big To Fail is a game of small business survival. As a franchise owner, you and up to 3 other players are pitted against an unfriendly business environment (as well as each other).

Just like any business owner today, you must navigate through a web of corruption, penalties and high taxes.

Will you triumph, go down in the flames of redistribution, or will you be Too Big to Fail?!

Ready for some fun?

I learned about this from a flyer. Cute as a bug. I have no financial interest.

I haven’t see this before, so it may be a lot of good natured fun. One of my concerns these days, is seeing businesses panned for becoming too large or successful. The Left has pulled out all the stops to try to discredit Capitalism.

‘If one person wins big, a lot of other persons have to lose.’ This is their mantra. They still don’t understand that when one person wins, they are generally doing it by employing a lot of other people. Thus many people win when one person wins.

I’d like to see a board game devised that pounds this and other sound Capitalist principles home.

It’s important that as a part of that game, it also reveal that when the top dog is destroyed, what it does to his current employees, and potential future employees. Of course, his current employees lose their jobs and there are no new hires.

As many sound fundamental aspects of Capitalism as could be imparted by playing this game, would be a plus. And it should be designed to be a real head rush to play, fast action, larger groups, and fast progression so that each game would last about thirty to sixty minutes.

Perhaps there could be a speed round and an extended round so you could play for a couple of hours or more if you wanted to, the super-duper expert round, for those who are real competitive.

Well, it says “Shipping is scheduled to begin November 15” on the site, so I guess we can find out about this.

Or, invent another game......

I still think it’s as cute as a bug.

I can see why you do. It is a great little package there. It may be a real hoot to play.

Thank you so much for your interest in our game. The game has been manufactured and we are waiting for the delivery of our inventory. It is a very fun game to play. We can’t wait for our customers to try it for themselves. Max Brothers is a family business. We personally invested in our initial inventory. We want folks to have the opportunity to purchase the game before the holidays. Pre-orders will enable us to keep up with customer demand.

We did show our sample to conservatives at a rally in Columbus, OH and everyone was very enthusiastic. Please view the media section of our site for a look at the game board. Enjoy the laughs! www.toobigtofailgame.com

You are so right! Necessity is the mother of invention. Just trying to make ends meet these days along with the sheer horror of what is happening with the administration and progressive agenda was enough to spark our imagination. We all need a good laugh right about now.

The elections were fun, but we have to keep on fighting. Products like this will, hopefully, make sure we never forget how bad the Obama administration really was!!!

I just went to the Too Big to Fail Game site. Did anyone read the preview of the Hope and Change cards?? (LMAO funny) Has anyone ever produced a board game poking fun at a sitting president?

I am getting one for my dad for Christmas. I can’t wait to see his expression when he opens the box.

I ordered the game for my uncle. He laughed so hard just reading the box that he started choking. We got the game out - Oh man! There is a spot called “The planet has a fever”, “Turtle Tunnel” , “TARP” and even “United Nations”. The UN square says “Sorry to disappoint, but nothing actually happens on this spot” – Cracked me up!
It was a lot of fun!
