My view from watching them gather on the Mall in person is that 90% are 20-somethings attending because it’s a neat thing to do.
It’s not a group I would want to claim as a political omen. They’re just hanging out.
LOL! Thanks for the link.
>>From the look of it on the live feed, it is.<<
They are estimating the crowd at 80,000. So the live feed is showing that. However, if you watched Beck’s rally, you couldn’t even see the end of the crowd.
Stewart = 80,000
Beck = 300,000
The should be happy they are not harming the ozone layer.
Arianna Huffington is SOOOO happy to give her opinion on everything and tell everyone what they are doing wrong. And, like a typical liberal, when asked to perform she is a complete failure. Can’t even deliver people to an event on time. What a loser.
10,000 people were on the Huffington Post buses. This is an amazing FAIL!
Without AC! Damn, the Huffpo went all out with the rental of buses. Must have brought them in from Mexico ;^)
Wishful thinking, but it would have been cool if the bus driver were a Tea Party supporter and started playing Sarah Palin videos on the bus TVs. Talk about torture for those brain-dead folks!
This is hilarious. 6 hours on a bus with no AC? LOL! 6 hours from where? Chicago? NYC? 6 hours. LOL!
On Inauguration day ‘08 a group of African-Americans from the Boston area were on the way to DC to see the historic moment. Bus broke down. Took awhile to get a replacement bus, etc.
and when that moment (noon) passed by there was an awkward,
eerie silence. Eventually they did get to DC and saw some of the events but I had a bit of schadenfreude. (Me, I have no prob with a black Prez but next time, er, no Marxist please?)

>>They thought they had bought tickets to history, but ended up no closer than the middle of an interstate in New York. About 50 people - a group of professionals called Three Degrees of Separation - had chartered a bus to take them from Roxbury to Washington in time for the inauguration on Tuesday. They were to leave Boston Monday night and return Tuesday night.
(Snip) Her fears were confirmed when the bus overheated and broke down near a ramp in New Rochelle. Some reports said the bus was stranded on the side of the road, but Williams insists that was not the case.
>>”We were in the road, in the inside lane near the on-ramp,” she said, “and trucks were going past us honking and cursing.” They sat on the darkened bus and waited for help. Help was not on the way. Crystal Transport, the company that owns and operates the bus, said yesterday that a series of problems kept the bus from getting fixed. For four hours. First, a mechanic couldn’t figure out what was wrong, then the company couldn’t secure another bus - standard procedure in such a case - to take its customers the rest of the way. New York State officials eventually got the bus off the highway and had the passengers taken to a motel.
>>By the time they were moving again, it was obvious that the inauguration was going to happen without them.
>>”There was an eerie quiet on the bus at 12:01,” Williams said. “Because of the reality of the fact we had missed it was there. I don’t know where we were, exactly.”
Eventually, a New York-based bus company provided a bus for the rest of the journey. By the time they got to Washington, around 2 p.m., Barack Obama was sworn in and the trip was rendered anticlimactic. Williams ate at a Red Lobster with her children, bought a few souvenirs, and got back on the for a sad trip home
This is probably the first real world education some little college "Numb-nuts" have ever gotten ;^)
Six hrs later I’m still on a #huffpostbus without AC.
hahahaha
Shoulda made Obama build a high speed rail straight from your door to DC
Dang
Don’t mess up next time
BTW
Hope it takes 6 hours without AC on the way back too !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CAPTION: “Liberals take their weekly bath. Whether they need it or not.”
Hell, I hope the engine over heats a little, getting some of that good engine heat circulating back in the bus ;^)
yrv06: Still on the #huffpostbus, what a headache!
