I second it about Delaware, because this is going to be a big year for upsets, and states which is looking like not likely could very much will. Plus America is coming home to its conservative roots.

The masks have pretty much come off this time around.

It's getting harder and harder for the MSM to lie to themselves... I'm not sure if that's good for us or not.

On Foxnews right now, the tv station is denying it fully. Said the reporters were just talking about a planning session about the coverage.

If Joe Miller should wind up losing this battle it will be because of the Republican establishment and the media.

We will need a new saying based on “Remember the Alamo”. It will be “Remember Alaska”. That will be the rallying cry to oust the RINOs. We can throw in Delaware to. The same thing applies.

Not just this time around. Remember 2008? 1992? MSM “objectivity” is just a smoke screen intended to stifle real debate.

There was a reporter that has been following the O’Donnell campaign and he said that he was appalled by the one sided reporting by the media. They just covered up the gaffs by Coons and went overboard to report anything negative about O’Donnell. I guess it was even to much for that reporter to take.

Once a person starts seeing a trickle of the truth - the flood happens quickly...

KTVA put a statement on their website.

I sent the following emial to Joe Bever, the managing editore of the station:

Mr. Bever:

So let me get this straight. You are more upset that the reporter’s discussion was recorded than what was said in the discussion. You are also more upset that the Miller campaign responded to this voice mail recording “out of context” rather than what was said in the discussion.

You have got to be kidding me.

You said it was taken out of context?? What I CLEARLY heard on the recording was reporters discussing on MAKING UP a story, a story with OUTRAGEOUS and UNFOUNDED accusations. What I heard was an attempt of blantant SLANDER towards and individual. I heard MOCKING LAUGHTER of these “reporters” discussing this slanderous attempt. Lastly, this attempt was on the eve of an election to influence the outcome. That is electioneering, pure and simple. What I heard was not “contingincy planning” as you put it your statement. What you are condoning in your statement is not professional, not ethical and something that is a direct abuse of the First Amendment. I hearby am calling you to do the following:

1. Place all reporters, editors and staff involved in this slanderous discussion on suspension followed by a professional inquiry.
2. Apologise to Joe Miller and his campaign for this outrageous treatment.
3. Apologise to the Alaskan people for your station’s outrageous conduct.

Ted Andrews

(Yes, Indiana. Which is proving that your recording and following statement have gone VIRAL)

CBS insider Bernard Goldberg wrote the definitive book on liberal bias in the media, simply entitled Bias.

Goldberg also suggested liberals don't even see their liberal values as "liberal":

During the Vietnam War, the Soviet Union was the principal ally of Communist North Vietnam, providing weapons and training in what was a major conflict of the Cold War that took 58,000 American lives. CBS Evening News with Walter Cronkite regularly carried news reports from its Moscow Bureau Chief, Bernard Redmont. When peace negotiations commenced with North Vietnam in Paris, Redmont became CBS News Paris Bureau Chief. What Redmont never reported during the ten year conflict was, Redmont had been a KGB operative since the 1930s, and member of the notorious Silvermaster group. [14] Redmont was the only journalist to whom his fellow Comintern party member, and North Vietnamese chief negotiator, Mai Van Bo, granted an interview to bring the Communist point of view into American living rooms in what has been called, "the living room war."

The selective and editorial reporting of the Vietnam war is often cited as a manifest example of liberal bias in the mainstream media, with Hanoi reportedly affirming that it could not have won "without the Western press."[15] Charges of western media bias in favor of the Communist side have often been made by critics,[98] who see such alleged bias as being crucial in turning military victories by America into a loss of the war, much by means of propaganda. Underlying the importance of such is the often quoted exchange between Colonel Harry G. Summers, Jr. and his North Vietnamese counterpart, Colonel Tu. During one of his liaison trips to Hanoi, Colonel Harry told Tu, "You know, you never beat us on the battlefield," Colonel Tu responded, "That may be so, but it is also irrelevant."[99]

The success of the propaganda war has seemed enigmatic to many. “If there is to be an inquiry related to the Vietnam War, it should be into the reasons why enemy propaganda was so widespread in this country, and why the enemy was able to condition the public to such an extent that the best educated segments of our population (that is, media and university elite) gave credence to the most incredible allegations.” (Final Report - Chief of Military History - U.S. Government)

British "Encounter" journalist Robert Elegant stated,

For the first time in modern history, the outcome of a war was determined not on the battlefield but on the printed page and television screens - never before Vietnam had the collective policy of the media sought, by graphic and unremitting distortion, the victory of the enemies of the correspondents own side.[100]

Some journalists have admitted that their reporting was decidedly biased, and had profound effects on history. West German correspondent Uwe Siemon-Netto confessed, "Having covered the Viet Nam war over a period of five years for West German publications, I am now haunted by the role we journalists have played over there." In relation to not reporting the true nature of the Hanoi regime and its actions resulting from the American withdrawal, he asked,

What prompted us to make our readers believe that the Communists, once in power in all of Viet Nam, would behave benignly? What made us, first and foremost Anthony Lewis, belittle warnings by U.S. officials that a Communist victory would result in a massacre?... Are we journalists not in part responsible for the death of the tens of thousands who drowned? And are we not in part responsible for the hostile reception accorded to those who survive?...However, the media have been rather coy; they have not declared that they played a key role in the conflict. They have not proudly trumpeted Hanoi's repeated expressions of gratitude to the mass media of the non-Communist world, although Hanoi has indeed affirmed that it could not have won "without the Western press."[101]

Gov. Palin informed Chris Wallace of this taped message on FOX News Sunday.

I hope this revelation helps the undecided to go for Joe Miller!

The media is the enemy of America. They aid and abet the DemonRATS.....and it's now obvious they want to rig the election and destroy conservative candidates!

Alaskan politics has always been SO SO SO Dirty.

So has CBS's politics, nationally and local.

2004: CBS ran a television "news" special hosted during the presidential campaign by Dan Rather, promulgating a canard that then young George W. Bush was AWOL from the Texas Air National Guard in the 1960s, displaying forged documents in a malicious effort to "prove" their point.

c. 1968: Walter Cronkite, CBS' avuncular news anchorman, falsely hinted that the US was losing the Viet Nam War after the Tet offensive, causing a breakdown of civilan support for the war effort.

1964: CBS "News" concocted an obviously fraudulent smear story, claiming that GOP presidential candidate Barry Goldwater was being celebrated for his achievement by neonazi groups in western Europe. The plain truth is that neonazis in Europe would not be lauding Goldwater; rather, as a man whose father was Jewish, Goldwater would be targeted for death by the Nazi racial laws.

It's not a legacy to be proud of. I'm sure some of you can come up with many more examples of CBS' on-air expressions of hatred against politicians and causes they wanted to see defeated.
