I know a local Republican life member of the NRA who just resigned his membership and announced that he would work against them because of their disgusting habit of always endorsing incumbent Democrats whenever possible (”we stand by our friends”), so that Republican challengers who are much stronger on Second Amendment issues never get a chance.
