CROWD ROARS AT WORLD SERIES As Bush Zings a Strike to Start Game 4
Gateway Pundit (First Things) ^

Posted on 11/01/2010 7:51:41 AM PDT by fabrizio

What a moment! George Bush 41 and George Bush 43 entered the stadium together tonight to throw out the first ball at the World Series. THE CROWD ROARED. Then GW threw a strike to home plate catcher Nolan Ryan to start off game 4. Barbara Bush was taking photos in the stands.

What a wonderful moment.

I posted the better video on my facebook page, and made the comment that seeing those two guys was the only good thing that happened to sports lovers in Dallas yesterday.

They are both way cool.

Obama just thinks he’s cool.

While you are there also watch the clip on the visit to Yankee Stadium right after 9-11. It will make your heart swell with pride.

Mrs. Bush was there in the stands taking photos of her husband and son - it was so sweet.

I totally agree. Thought that was a very "family" thing to do.

"Exactly right. I doubt that very many people here could throw a baseball 75 mph. Try it sometime. The experience might make you appreciate those 85 mph MLB “change-ups.”"

Very true. Years ago, when Warren Moon was quarterback at the University of Washington, I happened to be in the student athletic center when Moon was doing an off-season passing workout. It was the first time I'd been right next to a college QB as he was throwing the ball, and it was humbling to see he could throw the football faster than I could throw a baseball. He'd throw it and - zoom - the ball was 30 yards downfield in a split-second.

Bush and his father drive in from left field. Sr. is announced first to a tremendous ovation, then an even bigger roar for W.

They meet Nolan Ryan, who helps the Elder to the mound.

W looks at Ryan and says “Gimme the Ball”, then fires a strike to the inside corner.

I wonder how many DUmmies angrily called their local Fox affiliate when they replayed in slow motion the Bushes riding in the cart during “God Bless America”. I could hear the veins popping from my house.

Did that mean something?

What I meant was pretty simple. I wish not only as you said that we had a president that loves the country I'd like a country that loves the president again. Sure, we have never had a president that 100% of the population loves but there have been times in the past where we came close. The most loved recent president has to be Reagan. In the past some presidents like Washington were loved by the country. Love is built on respect and we need someone we can respect too.

There is no way to love or respect Obama. This Obama guy is a clown. He is the first performance art president. A pop culture TV studio president. The first Peter Max/Max Headroom president who spits out whatever is connected to him via his USB/Telepromoter port. He is the first non-black black president who is the non-son of slaves. I don't know where he was constructed but he is defective and needs to be replaced. Way before his term ends.

I want a president I can love and respect. Not a Ken Doll in black face that is operated by people we can't see doing things in places that we can't visit who load up their dancing menstrel/MP3 player, push their puppet on stage and then press "play". If I can't have that at least give me an American. Obama isn't one.

...and the looney left will not wake up in time to go vote tomorrow.

For one thing, I don't think the loony left watches baseball, and in reality it doesn't matter because they've all signed up for permanent absentee voting anyway - and the ballots are sent to the the "bundler" mail drop, so they don't have to lift a finger to vote.

That’s crips? I thought it was Max Patkin, clown prince of baseball. Who by the way, died years ago.
