Self-confessed Islamist militant Omar Khadr cheered himself up during his time in custody by remembering how he killed a US soldier with a grenade, a military tribunal has heard.
Khadr pleaded guilty to five charges, including conspiracy with al-Qaeda terrorists and murder in violation of the laws of war.

Look on the bright side- when he comes back and kills a few thousand of us, we can issue a warrant for a capital crime, rather than the mere felonies we have him on now.
Then if we catch him, if he does not suicide, we can try him and sentence him to death, if we get that far.
It’s all part of a grand strategy, you see.

I don’t understand why all of these people aren’t just being put to death.
If you are a terrorist whose mission in life is to kill innocent people, that should qualify you for the death penalty - nothing less.
Hopefully he doesn’t come back here - he will live pretty comfortably in our system.
So what good is a federal government if I can’t perform its most important function of defending America? I think we may do a better job without it, but that’s just one man’s opinion.
The Khadr family has been involved with Al Qaeda for twenty years. They chose Canada to settle and set up an Islamist charity to support the mujahideen. The Canadians must have a dossier on the Khadr a foot thick. The fact that this SOB would be returned to Canada in a year, and that he would be released shortly after, is an indication that both nations have capitulated to terrorists.
Perhaps actions like this explain why a majority taking the poll on my blog think Obama should be IMMEDIATELY tried for treason.

Another terrorist captured planting IED’s was a Dutch citizen. He was on video bragging about sucessfully blowing up Americans. We sentenced him to life in prison. He was transferred to the Netherlands to serve his sentence.
A few weeks ago they released him because “six years was long enough.”
It literally brings tears to my eyes.
What have we in the civilized world become.
