MLB ^ | self

So what do you think? If 5 -10% stay home, will that affect the outcome of local and state elections?

If the hippies in California stay home, that can only help

Isn’t the Giant’s stadium one of the very few major sports venues that was not built with taxpayer money? If so, I’m glad they won.

I pray that all the SF Giant fans stay home from voting today. Congratulations on your win. Now celebrate in drunkenness at home.

For some crazy reason, this seems appropriate today.

Liberals, in general don't care about sports. So I figure a good number of Giant fans are probably more conservative.

Uhm... That’s AT&T Park. Giants haven’t played at Candlestick for many years.

I can tell you that people on twitter are 100% for prop 19. And that’s 100%. I just read prop19 on twitter, hit more 5 times, read maybe 200 or so posts. Every single person on twitter is Yes on Prop 19. No person tweeted anything about any candidate, in a search for prop19.

Not sure exactly if that means anything.

Sorry, I don’t follow the Giants, and I guess I’m dating myself.

Prop. 19 will pass because of "Big Time Timmy Jim" Lincecum stumping for it on ESPN (Actually, when asked what the fan in SF were doing he said, "... smoking something, I hope ...").

I doubt that there would be much affect in the western states.

You obviously know nothing about Giants fans.

As someone stated above, liberals usually don't care anything about sports. But aside from that, our only hope here in the Bay area is that San Franciscans will be too demoralized over the projected GOP sweep to go out and vote to keep Pelosi in office - but I wouldn't count on it.

GO GIANTS!!

Correct, but Liberals enjoy rioting and partying. Which is going on right now.

Is San Francisco? Maybe Bela Pelosi’s voters will be too drunk to remember where the polls are.
