During a morning meeting with congressional leaders from both parties, President Obama acknowledged the philosophical differences between his stimulus package and the Republican plan – but, sources familiar with the conversation said, Obama then noted: “I won.”…

But perhaps taking a cue from Obama’s “I won” line when Democrats were asked if they were concerned about Republicans blocking the package, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid had a swift one-word answer: “No.”

That's a two-way street, Obama. This time, you lost.

“Far, far too many of you have acted stupidly. You have disrepected my magnificence. I hereby declare martial law, and direct that reeducation camps be set up in every precinct that had the audacity to refuse my minions. You WILL kneel before ZOD!!”

Don’t tease me!

“My DC insider has just sent me a text saying that the Marine One helicopter is to be on standby at 1PM tomorrow afternoon.”

They have known what is coming. Tomorrows little shindig before the Bam's split overseas is gonna be a double down and a token olive branch right before he paints the GOP as puppy-killers.

I welcome this, it will piss off the electorate even more.

He will say the voters were angry, that they didn’t understand what he was trying to do, and that they were not patient enough to let it work. He will indicate a willingness to work with Republicans. Then a thank you and exit.
