I thought I was overly optimistic. But I am starting to think you may be right, as well. It is hard not to get overly optimistic as this anecdotal information comes in.
Oh well. The store downstairs sells Thunderbird, so I have my backup plan.

I was thinking the exact same thing - but then again, I am a rather pessimistic person, sadly...something I am trying to overcome. Anyway - I hope we are both wrong....but I have been feeling the same way.

If its a head fake... they should be boasting how well they’re doing.
All the anecdotal evidence tells us they’re not even running even.

I'm predicting 132 and 15.
I have about $50 riding on this.

Perhaps they are turning out...and there just aren’t enough of them.

And I suspect it is total Bravo Sierra. It's an attempt to suppress the R vote. Yes, those rascally Democrats are at it again, making us overconfident!

I've heard that Democrat voters usually vote in the morning, GOP voters in the evening.
If that is true, this could be a big GOP surprise.

Democrats aren’t buying it. They’re staying home or voting for any one but the Democrat.
If I am wrong, Blumenthal has nothing to be worried about tonight.

I hope these stories are real but thats virtually the same as what Coons is supposed to have done. I’m beside myself with anticipation tonight.

I live in one in Northern VA and it was very low this morning. I thought it was low in western Fairfax County, but the new computerized registration check really speeds things up. And there were both touch-screen and paper scan ballots offered as an option, which also cut down the wait significantly.
So, I'm not sure if the turnout was light or if the new procedures meant that voters could get in and out in much less time than with the old process.
