Former F.E.C. official on Reid strong-arming: ‘I’ve never seen anything so blatant’

A former official with the Federal Election Commission, Hans von Spakovsky, blasted the Reid campaign, saying they are clearly engaging in coercion and illegal coordination under federal campaign finance rules. “I’ve never seen anything this blatant,” he told The Examiner. “Most corporations stay far away from this because they know they can get in big trouble if they tell their employees to go out and vote for a particular candidate. Such an entitled group! (/sarcasm).

I hope that when the carnage of tonight’s elections settles that someone will file charges against Harry and his minions that approached the unions and casinos and make an example out of all of them.

All that matters is that he wins. Then the FEC can do whatever they do - fine him - and so what. His illegal actions got him in power. We don’t have incentive for the Democrats to obey the election laws so they don’t.
