FOX reporting that bitter butt hurt republicans were not unified behind ODonnell.

Democrats were solidly behind Coons, independents had a 3 point difference between the 2 candidates.

If this race is close, it’s on the establishment.

RINOs held up the money. That race was all about Palin. They wanted to check her power surge.

Coons was called with 0% in. Exit polling isn’t actual votes.

Anyone remember Dan Rather?

Let’s wait for some actual votes

Oh good grief. We never HAD Delaware, Sherlock. And even had Castle been the nominee and won, he already said he had no intention of helping repeal Deathcare.

Castle would have done ONE thing that would have made a MAJOR difference nation wide: he would have caucused with the GOP and, thus, probably made the difference in who controls the Senate. I didn't like him, didn't agree with him on many issues, but he nevertheless would have caucused the right way and brought control of the Senate to the GOP. Now, because of this loss, the Dems will maintain the Senate, Obama will be able to appoint more Judges to the Federal Bench, and we can't stop 'em. Our liberties will continue to be eroded in the courts and more un-born babies will die.

Don't misunderstand. I wanted O'Donnell to win both in the Primary and then in the general election. But I don't see ANYTHING good in Coons winning.

People keep missing the big picture. With a majority you now have Committee chairs and you can determine what does, or does not, get out of committee to the floor.

I would much rather have a Castle and a Tarkanian than a Coons and a Reid.

RINOs could be given a small voice in the Party.... could even be ignored....but their number would speak loudly.

Exactly. The Senate was always a stretch goal that only came on in the last couple of months. O’Donnell, McMahon, Raese, Fiorina and Angle were always long shots. Toomey and Kirk should be wins though based on more than recent hype. They lose and the night will be a bit hollow.

Well, the Politico.com Election 2010 has Maryland already going to Mikulski who only has 46.1% of the vote with Wargotz carrying 52.1% of the vote! Wha?

Yeah, because after all they got Florida in 2000 right all 3 times they called it before midnight.

THIS IS BASED ON ZERO PERCENT RETURN!!!! It is not a result, it is just another poll.

THOSE NASTY men could have Helped her win!!!

Worse than that, they helped keep the Gucci Loafer crowd on K-Street going. We wanted to send Christine and so many more to nix these B@$ard$ to only have Rove and Kruthammer help keep this system and power structure alive.

They don't get it, they are poltical history and they don't know it yet. Their inboxes will be flooded, and we won't watch them, just like many of us turned off Noonan and Parker.

Those two men, and I like Krauthammer, didn’t like Angle, Miller, O’Donnell, Rubio or Paul. Paul and Rubio won because they are in independent thinking states. Miller and Angle may still win too. What this election showed me is how low establishment Republicans are. If Rubio or Paul would have even been remotely weak, guys like Rove would have destroyed them, like they tried to do to O’Donnell before she even got going. They didn’t have to enthusiastically endorse her but they went out of their way to bring down the Republican support for her. Low budget

I'll wait for the vote counts.

Same here and in the meantime, Delaware is in my prayers for an O'Donnell victory and the election of a Christian Constitutional Conservative to the senate.

If that reprehensible Marxist Coons wins, my prayers will go out for the people of Delaware. They'll need the Good Lord to protect them from that vile man.

POLITICO don’t have any numbers on Delaware either, but they have a check-mark next to Coons’s name!

Or Rove made it happen. I think he should have kept his mouth shut.

Rove's comments were a double-edged sword. I'd point out that in saying what he did he not only solidified and focused support for O'Donnell, he also spurred a fundraising drive that gave her a much larger warchest than she would have had otherwise. I think it's open to debate whether he hurt her, or helped her and people are going to be discussing the matter long and far into "beating a dead horse" scenario.
