This race stinks to me as well - what is up with him giving an acceptance speech with only 58% of the precincts reporting. As I was watching it on FOX I was pissed that they would even call it and thought that Reid seemed a little to eager to claim victory.

LOL. Is that the narrative now? If the Dems cheated the electorat ethis much then why are Republicans doing so well across Nevada...except for this race.

I have heard Sharron talk. I have seen her campaign. She was not the best.

You do know Reid ran ads attacking Angle’s opponents in the primary. He wanted Angle to win the primary...for a reason.

you bet it was rigged. watch now, to see our own RINOs come out of the woodwork to congratulate Reid, and tell Angle to “move on”.

This is the problem with RINOs, they don’t fight tooth and nail. If this was a dem, they’d be paying millions for lawyers and challenging every vote, every machine, every illegal alien, challenging the SEIU repair men, etc.

Damn you RNC, get out there and back this woman!

You sound like you’re from Seattle!! Sharon shouldn’t concede — now way!

As I understand it, Sharon Angle and the Republicans have a basis for a lawsuit in Nevada.

There has been massive election fraud in that state.

There was an orchestrated effort by Harrah’s management to intimidate and coerce its employees to vote for Harry Reid for the United States Senate.

These activities were demanded by one or more persons who work for Sen. Reid and it appears that Harrah’s management has continually informed employees their ‘concern’ with reelecting Harry Reid, and not just that employees go out and vote.

“...Republican senate candidate Sharron Angle’s legal counsel (Mitchell) sent a letter to the Department of Justice today, requesting an investigation into whether the coordination between Democrat senate candidate Harry Reid’s campaign’s and Harrah’s revealed voter intimidation in violation of federal law.”

“Mitchell...had filed a complaint with the Federal Elections Commission last week about union intimidation of voters. That complaint noted that union employees had hung about polling locations while their members were inside voting, and had sometimes monitored inside the polling sites, actions which could potentially make union members feel intimidated.”

“This constitutes nothing less than a concerted scheme to violate the rights of Harrah’s employees which clearly interferes with these employees’ rights to cast a secret ballot for the candidates of their choice,..This illegal, improper and heavy-handed intervention into the fundamental voting rights of Harrah’s employees should be immediately investigated by the Department of Justice,..”

I also hope that the Federal Elections Commission also looks into all those voting machines that kept coming up with Harry Reid already checked off — the machines maintained by SEIU no less!!

I hope Harry Reid will be having a very, very interesting lame duck session in Congress this fall!

I believe that recounts can only be demanded if the vote is extremely close. That is the way it is in most places. The only thing that can happen here is for those who broke the law in vote buying/manipulation/ be prosecuted. The union activities in running the machines, must also be made illegal.

All across this country the mechanisms that are in place that make vote fraud so easy to commit need to be eliminated. Even the voter registration lists need to be purged and started from scratch with proof of citizenship required to be registered. The voting process in this country should be impeccably honest and reliable. If the republicans are worth anything then they need to set upon this task.

I saw he newscaster on Fox at the Reid camp and she was smiling and she said Reid was unpopular and had less than 50% and was not liked in Nevada but he managed to win it. My husband and I looked at each and thought what the hell is she listening to what she just said it did not add up it was so ridiculous it was funny.

“Another seat we could have won with any other Republican.”

Not true.
“any other Republican” would probably have lost by an even larger margin.

Dingy Harry lost in 15 of 17 counties.
He ALWAYS wins in the same two counties, Clark and Washoe, the only two (liberal dominated) counties he really makes any effort to help.

He has enabled Clark County to grow beyond it’s rational limits.
He has contrived to steal water from rural Nevada counties for the sole benefit of Clark County.
He has “sold” Nevada’s public land to developers so that Clark County continues to grow, enlarging his true base and enriching himself in the process.
He has steered grants and funding to Washoe County (Reno) while doing virtually NOTHING for the rural counties.

By virtue of these shenanigans he virtually owns the vote in Clark and Washoe.
Combined with the MSM bias and “republican” support this race shows he is in for life, probably less than another full term.

I’ve lived here and opposed Harry Cadaver for over 20 years.

I am only pointing out Nevada history, you can look it up.

In order to get a recount Sharon has to foot the bill, I doubt 33,000+ votes can be proven fraudulent.
She should save the money for her next race.

I do not want my party to resemble the Sore Loserman camp, as much as this result stinks.

she needs to get a legal team out there to challenge all the votes, not a recount, but challenge the legality of the voter roles, and challenge the integrity of the voting apparatus, and the means in which it was integrated and maintained, IE the SEIU and the conflict of interest.

she needs to get someone to verify, each and every voter name, if she spent this much so far on the election, the RNC should toss out a few million more, and start making an example of Reid and his corruption.

Also, as a side note, I hope the TEA party starts pushing not only for term limits, but also for a ban on gerrymandering somehow. Problem is, both sides do it in backroom deals, and it stinks. Districts should have 4 sides, not 50 different sides, snaking all over the place and then back again. This kills us in Illinois, but the R’s allow it to happen, so long as they keep their little piece of the pie. Dems give us territory they know they can’t win, block by block, so they don’t have to carry those little blocks, and they focus their districts on those blocks they know they can carry. I hate that system, its wrong, and it cheats us voters in urban areas.

Liberals have told us that boycotting a state in order to press your demands is fair game.

Under those rules, I believe a boycott of Nevada is in order until a thorough non-partisan investigation is done of the voting irregularities.

Doesn’t make sense that 10% of voters voted for the leader of the extreme liberal wing of the Democrat party then switched to the Republican side on the next line to vote against his son.

Impossible.

Sore Loserman? This isn't high school; it's real politics.

Republicans in Washington State conceded the race for Governor a while back, and later (too late) discovered it had been stolen by election fraud in King County.

Sharon Angle should absolutely not take any advice to concede.

Reid is dirty, and this race proves it.

Angle should sue the bastards.

Nevada, I read, was flooded with Democrat staffers and operatives from Washington, D.C., over the weekend. The Democratic Party is no doubt up to its eyeballs in this scandal.

The Republican Party should come out fighting for Sharon Angle in this case. Enough is enough!

Bull$hit!

Harry and the Dems of this corrupt POS known as Las Vegas stole this election right from the start and it is dumba$$es like yourself that keeps letting it happen.

I live here with the unemployed, foreclosed and destitute people that just a few years ago were making good wages and living good lives. I do not know anyone that did not want Harry dumped.

Sharon needs to pursue this to the highest level and flush this turd once and for all.

FOCUS!

So you only need to boycott Reno and Las Vegas.

The rest of the state is more comfortable and much less expensive anyway.

Big time. I am sad by many Senate Seats we did not win tonight. I know that everyone is excited about the House and I am too but I would take a minority House with 68 Senators.....Senators pick the court. We could easily be screwed if one of our conservative justices decides to retire or good forbid gets sick. Also I bet they are going to go nuclear on judges.....I have this serious feeling that Reid knows he has six years and won’t care. He is going to pass any and everything he wants. This win is the worst thing that could have happened.

Also odd is that according to my count there are 17,000 more votes for senate than governor.

So I guess people showed up to vote but didn’t bother voting the entire ballot — they just wanted to make their love of Reid known.

Really?

I lived in Nevada for 6 years...NOTHING and NOBODY is going to get rid of Harry until he dies. Because, nobody is willing to fight the corruption. It was going on when we lived there. Actually worked on a documentary with ranchers about how they were being denied use of their land. Never mind...nothing will change out there if people are unwilling to even admit the corruption. Let’s just blame the Tea Party and the candidate and give Harry a pass. Much easier that way.

I didn’t call you anything. Chill

“The Republican Party should come out fighting for Sharon Angle in this case.”

Would that be the same party that shut down the NV caucus when the electoral vote was looking like it would go to Ron Paul? I suspected she was a RHINO and her rolling over proved it to me in the face of clear voter intimidation and fraud. If she’s not up to fighting Reid and the fraud, she’s not worthy to serve. She’ll never get a future vote of mine and the RNC will never get a cent of my money after the 2008 NV caucus.

“This win is the worst thing that could have happened.”

This night has been such a disappointment for me. I remember when Reagan won in 1980, and we cleaned the senate swamp in one night, chasing George McGovern, John Culver, Birch Bayh, and Frank Church. We beat them all and more. We knew it was a win, and so did they...but this?

Obama can ram any judge he wants through this senate. We are just as screwed as before if Anthony Kennedy retires.

And to boot, Gabby Giffords and Raul Grijalva just won. Bahh.
