Bennett 48%, Buck 47% (Buck proving to be the only Repub. in CO who could possibly lose this race)

88% reporting, Buck down 7000 votes.

Looks like Hinsdale and Chafee counties aren't counted? Could use CO Freeper update.....

Tancredo losing by double-digits now. Looks like CO is officially blue for good.

Ken Buck was said to be the only GOP candidate who could lose this race, which would have been a GOP blowout with Norton on the ticket. Looks like that prediction was prophetic.

Maybe he'll blame those stupid Tea Partiers and Sarah Palin and those retarded Birthers........again........

Unreal how back some of these candidates have proven to be, like Ken Buck.

The polls were looking bad for him (at least most of them) in the final days.

Of course, Freepers on those polls said don’t worry, CO voters will come out for him.

Goes to show if you run a shitty campaign, don’t expect to win.

He won’t make up the difference. Bennett reelected.

Frazier lost against Perlmutter. So every major candidate I voted for lost except John Suthers for CO attorney general. Haven’t checked the other races. CO is officially the land of the stupid.

As for how bad some of the candidates are.....that’s the downside of the tea party putting in people that haven’t been in politics before. They don’t know how to campaign.

I sure as hell wouldn’t know how to get elected to the Senate on the first try.

I predict every one of the races that are still too close to call go D.Pubs don’t do anything about blatant theft.

Colorado, Arizona, and the Pacific Northwest are experiencing on the West Coast what various southern states are experiencing on the East Coast. Leftists destroy whatever state they are in (NY, NJ, CT, CA) and then flee to nice conservative states because of better taxes, nicer people, more jobs, and so on and then proceed to try to turn those states into the leftist hell-hole that they left because they are too stupid to connect their politics with what they do to a state. I liken them to a swarm of locusts that eats a field bare and then moves on to a new field to destroy.

Buck is a bit too honest for his own good, but he was a strong candidate.

The Colorado Democratic Party (& the radical billionaires that control it - and the complicit 'impartial' media that echoes their charges) just beat the Colorado Republican Party -- again.

Norton would have cruised. Maybe , Lowden in Nevada.Maybe. Harry’s SEIU/Harrahs machine may have cheated anyone.
It seems that the Tea Party is good at energizing the base, but if the base is small it doesn’t help. I suppose it is good in Red States and helped Paul, Haley, but a moderate rep like Castle would have won.

I’m glad Castle wasn’t in it. He would’ve crossed over with the Dems and put the bi-partisan stamp on 0bama’s agenda. No more RINO’s!

Let me be the first to say, I’m not falling for this again.

I am not going to back a 95% Conservative who acts like a lunatic and is polling poorly against a 90% Conservative who is polling 20% ahead and has an electable demeanor. No more - not after Angle and Buck. I am getting behind a Buckley Conservative early next time, and fighting like hell for them (most electable who can win).

Miller is different because AK was going GOP no matter what. I have no problem flanking Lindsey Graham and others in Red States where the GOP candidate will win anyway.

Buck might bet he worst candidate I’ve ever seen - EVER! Six more years of Bennett because we’re supposed to support anyone with a big mouth who claims to be at all more Conservative than the other candidates. The idea of Buck or Tancredo running for office again needs to be immediately met with the tossing of fruit and name-calling at whoever says it.

We had no business losing either of these two Senate races, NO BUSINESS! To hell with losing winnable races because 90% Conservative isn’t good enough. I’m done with this crap.

Yep...Every election year its the same old same old about the polls..."their rigged...their this...their that..."

Well...how did Senators Buck...COD...and Angle do? Oh...so the polls were right.

Buck is toast. A lot of the precincts still yet to report are in boulder county...the dim will only add to his lead.

Oh...and so much for the polls showing Tancredo in a dead heat...and Barney Frank's job threatened.

Come on people...a little dose of reality every once in a while is a good thing.

“I don’t care what anyone says.It was a dissappointing night did not meet expectations for conservatives.”

In Nevada YES (though the results are fishy)
In Alaska YES (but the blame is on Murk not the conservatives)
In Delaware NO ( we ousted a RINO)
In Mass YES (All the Dems were re-elected)
In many other states NO (conservatives had big gains)

The sting comes from the fact that many of the marque media races were defeats.

Never give up. Time to reload and continue pounding Obama and the Libs

Colorado is BLUE because the clowns that destroyed California with their liberal votes lost their jobs and moved to Colorado. Seriously.

I use to think I would love to retire in Colorado. Now it is INFESTED with former Californians intent on voting for the same liberal beliefs that destroyed the state they cut and run from.

Could you please give examples where Ken Buck is a lunatic?

I supported Norton in the primary, but c'mon. Buck was a strong, confident, appealing candidate, and the worst that can be said about him is that he answers questions honestly instead of repeating talking points. Refreshing but electorally dangerous.

I am not a fan of RINO’s , but in states like Pa where Toomey won, or Kentucky where paul won or Rubio’s Florida, we don’t need Rinos.
In blue states Castles are the best we can get and certainly much better than Coons. I agree with bill bucklys rule.
