Governor’s race headed to recount (Minn.again)
City College News ^ | 11/3/10 | CALEB R. WILLIAMS

In a grimly familiar scene for Minnesota politics, the governor’s race between apparent winner Mark Dayton and Republican challenger Tom Emmer is headed to a recount.

With 100 percent of the state’s precincts reporting, Dayton leads Emmer by 8,854 votes. This number requires a mandatory recount under state law as it is within one-half of one percentage point.

When I went to the Soros SOS website, they cite the Franken victory as one of their accomplishments via electing the Minnesota SOS.

Does anyone know how Republicans did in the Secretary of State races?

Pawlenty was of how much help in Coleman vs Franken?

Today is Jim Robinson's birthday!
Please money bomb the FReep-a-Thon thread.
We'd sure love to wrap this up for Jim today!

Well, at least in this race the Dem is winning. They don’t have to magically find any more votes for Dayton. They just have to deep six any votes for Emmer.

You know it will take 8 months for them to do that recount and if nothing else since Minn. Republicans just took control of both chambers with Gov. Pawlenty remaining on they could actually get something done. I hope they use whatever time they get to do that if nothing else it will really throw a kink in the liberal’s plans there.

The winner is not determined by the votes. He/she is determined by whomever counts the votes.

That’s very good news.
Actually I thought it was a master stroke on Soros part to come up with this plot - it’s the key to controlling the outcome of elections.
I think the Soros crew was inspired by the 2000 POTUS election and their hate of Katherine Harris in FL.

Minnestoa: D incumbent wins

Illinois- Big win for incumbent D

Indiana- GOP hold

Wisconsin- Sadly narrow win for rat incumbent

Cali-D inc wins

AZ-GOP hold

ID-GOP hOld

Iowa: Narrow GOP gain it looks like!

Colorado-GOP Hold

New Mexico: GOP Gain!! First time since 1928!

Nevada: D hold, GOP wins Gov and LT Gov, nothing else statewide

SD- GOP

NE-GOP

Arkansas: GOP gain!!! (first time??) Guy has the same name as a NASCAR star, interesting

Alabama: GOP hold

Michigan: GOP Hold (yet another female Republican)

Ohio: GOP GAIN!! Vital gain.

GA: GOP Hold

SC: GOP Hold

CT: Rat hold

MA: Rat hold (Sec of the Commonwealth)

VT: rat hold

RI: rat hold

I think that’s all of them (that have them elected and up this cycle)

Alaska and Hawaii have the LT Governor do it I think. Alaska is R and Hawaii is a D gain.

So we gain Iowa, OHIO, New Mexico!, and Arkansas.

The Dem is already the winner, they won’t find any ballots. Republicans never find ballots.
