London, United Kingdom (AHN) - In a final briefing before the Israeli parliament's Foreign Affairs and Security Committee, military intelligence chief Major General Amos Yadlin warned Tuesday that Iran has enough uranium to create a nuclear bomb and may create a second one if it gets more radioactive material.
Yadlin stated that Iran already had commenced work on two new nuclear installations. He noted there are an estimated 3,000 to 4,000 centrifuges busy enriching uranium to levels of 20 percent. Once levels reach 90 percent, military use of the material will commence, he said.
Like the West, Yadlin does not believe Irans nuclear program is solely for civilian electrification. He warned that Iran had been busy buying advanced Russian self-propelled air defense missiles with long-range optical and targeting ranges that would encumber the Israeli Air Force warplanes' freedom of action in an emergency

Israel needs to relocate the facilities.
Its difficult to move a nuclear arms plant and reactor. The logistsics are nearly impossible.
Main screen turn on.
Iran Glass Parking lot== open soon.
All they need is one.
You bet. Did you know that the glass around the Trinity site contains minute traces of plutonium.
I believe in the scorched earth tactic.
Headline: Has one bomb.
Text: Working on 20% so they can later get to 90%. Not even near enrichment needed to make first bomb.
The seriousness of the issue makes hyped headlines annoying.
They have no clue how many bombs they have or how far along they are. They are guessing.
THE ISRAELIS ARE DUMB. WTF. NUKE IRAN.
As soon as the get their F-35s then they will.
Yes Iran is refining uranium, no they don't have anywhere the 20% (1/16th of a bomb at most).
The constant BS from the Israelis is getting very annoying, we have had far too many posts like this nonsense.
Iran will have a bomb some day and Israel won't stop it and if they could they damn sure wouldn't talk about how and when.
I really do not think that they are hysterical. Their very survival is at hand.
If youd like to be on or off, please FR mail me.
The poster changed the title - the title at the actual article is not hysterical at all.
The headline is misleading. Iran does not have the bomb. Iran has enough uranium to make a bomb, if they can enrich the uranium they already have to 90%. It’s definitely a matter of great concern, but I wish journalists and/or their editors would not run such sensationalist blather. Repeat: The article does not say that Iran has the bomb. Only the headline does.
Iran's employees, Hezbollah are a far greater and immediate threat to Israeli lives. Why doesn't Israel do something about its own backyard instead of goading us into war?
The content of the article is filled with the same old Israeli PR machine hysterics. Iran does not have anywhere near the fuel for a bomb and has made minimal progress on actually weaponizing any fuel.
You are correct
War with Iran is very unlikely. We will be years in Afghanistan and doing overwatch in Iraq. There might be limited air strikes years from now, at best.
No, we will not have the political will for another Middle East war until Afghanistan and Pakistan and Yemen are pacified and bin Laden and Zawahiri are dead.
Saddam would be in power now if he hadn't invaded Kuwait, Iran is much more clever.
This is a little different. In 1979, Arafat was in charge now the PA is under a different leadership. Abbas needs a deal because he does not want the PA to end up like the Gaza Strip.
Israel does not want another Iranian satellite within reach of Jerusalem. The sticking point is what to do with Jerusalem.
Bottom line, my point remains, Israel needs to concentrate on peace at home instead of constantly inciting American into a war with Iran.
The sticking point is Israel's refusal to convert E Jerusalem Palestinians into Israeli citizens. It's obvious that Israel intends to keep making life miserable for the Palestinians in occupied territory until they just leave. It is nothing less than ethnic cleansing.
I actually support that if it means peace for greater Palestine. Peace always comes at the point of a gun.
Then it should be a two track system. Trying for some sort of “accomodation” with the PA while preparing for War with Iran. That is why we are giving billions to Saudi Arabia and Israel. Iran will not make any peace at all.
Israel then should refuse to have Palestinians as Israeli citizens
I prefer to arm both Saudi Arabia and Israel with weapons. At the same time putting every available U.S. carrier group with striking distance of Tehran.
The Palestinians that live in the occupied territory.......would you have Israel annex the territory but not make the millions of them citizens in the country they were born in and lived in all their lives?
It is all about will power, America is worn out chasing muslims all over some desert.
War is the easy part, how would you institute peace in Iran, troops on the ground?
It would certainly be tragic if that one Iranian nuke bomb happen to ACCIDENTLY detonate on site, leaving Iran with no one to blame. (hey Mossad, nudge nudge, wink wink)
Apply the BATFE rule of “constructive possession”: if you have the parts to build it, that it is not assembled is not an excuse.
Those questions will have to be ironed out with the negotiating team.
Have allied muslim nations do the policing.
