Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani said Wednesday that he believes Sarah Palin will run for president in 2012.
"My guess is yes she's going to run for president," Giuliani told CNN's Wolf Blitzer. "She sounds to me like somebody who's running for president."
The former presidential candidate the GOP should "put off the [2012 presidential] election" and "try to accomplish a few things first," citing a potential compromise on the extension of tax cuts set to expire at the end of the year.

Um, we need to actually win in 2012.
“Um, we need to actually win in 2012.”
MSM got you all wee wee’d up about her?
And you know better.
Sara Palin is the most exciting thing to happen in US politics since Ronald Reagan. Next to her, the rest of potential GOP candidates are lilliputian.
I know. Don't remind me.
Fear not. The myth of Obama has been shattered. No one believes his flapdoodle anymore. He will be beatable in ‘12. But it will be close. And hard. The combination of leftists + gubmint parasites - which won the day out here in CA - will make the incumbent very difficult to dislodge.
true, but her negatives are to high with too many voters to allow her to win the presidency. too early to be handicapping but i’m thinking pence / rubio is a stronger ticket.
My understanding is that Pence is running for Governor.
Rubio just became a Senator in waiting.
I don’t think the next nominee has emerged yet.
It will be interesting to watch the establishment vs the Country Class.
I hope the Country Class wins.
That's possible. the only problem is that a vacuum will be filled by romney if we wait too long and that would only occur after a very destructive battle between palin supporters and his supporters. someone else needs to begin making a move.
My personal opinion...Romney won’t be able to fill any vacuum. Heck...he IS a vacuum!
Obama unwittingly killed Romney’s chances with Obamacare. Most people didn’t know about Romneycare until Obama upstaged him by going national with it.
I believe that we will see someone fresh and new on the Presidential front...someone we’ve not seen before in this arena.
BTW, I love Sarah, and voted for her in ‘08. I love what she’s doing now, and hope she won’t be sidetracked by any ole presidential election...just yet.
Sarah is taking flak for her success in this election. Nightline trash tonight and Jay Leno has Megan Mc Pain on trashing her and the Tea Party as well.
i can never figure out why anyone even gives that ignorant clown a microphone let alone listen to anything she has to say
Amazing isn’t it?
Bristal Palin: I would love to see my mom run, Bristol told Access Hollywood Lives Kit Hoover, at a Los Angeles rehearsal for Dancing on Friday.
“i can never figure out why anyone even gives that ignorant clown a microphone let alone listen to anything she has to say”
Mastered that whole shoe-tying thing yet?
anticeecee....when you get a minute, can you give me the run-down on what was said on Nightline and Leno tonight?
((( antceecee ))) now you know those shows are not good for our health and well being...! :)
As for Meghan McCain, some ‘jokes’ are funny, but she’s just stupid and obese.
She tried to sell her silly book by invoking Sarah’s name, but that backfired and now her book is somewhere like # 999,000 on amazon.
Once she starts campaigning, her negatives will go down. She’s the real thing.
At least she didn’t have her boobs hanging out tonight.
That’s a very hopeful number for Palin.
she campaigned two years ago.
We need to not fool ourselves. The Republican party had losses in the WV, Colorado, and NV Senate, close races in Ohio and Pennsylvania and Washington, and this was in a mid-term election with historically high support of the GOP . . . and a disinterested black vote. The black vote will come out in 2012 for Obama and that will make a lot of states closer.
Countering that is Obama’s massive unpopularity, which was much much higher than Manchins, Murrays etc.
I sure don’t want another Republican light president when our country is at stake. So we’ve got to keep working.
LOL. She is a boob.
Stop electing clowns into the most important office of this world ! It’s been a quite unimpressive run since carter - the only guy with a plan and some own authority in these times was Bush senior.
The only "plan" I saw out of Bush Sr. was to break his "no new taxes" pledge, allow Saddam Hussein to escape the Gulf War intact, setting the stage for the events that led to the war that is still ongoing, and losing what should have been a slam-dunk re-election to Bill Clinton. The Bush Sr. presidency was hardly a distinguished one and for all the faults of his son, he was a much better president than his father.
It sounds like you are nostalgic for the "dignified" presidents of the past where every word uttered was statesmanlike. In today's media-saturated world, where everybody's imperfections are exposed for all to see, forget about it. If George Washington himself was surrounded by the "media bubble" that surrounds our current leaders 24/7, he'd come across as a grouchy, aloof, cantankerous man with bad teeth and wouldn't get elected town selectman, never mind president of the United States.
only she can help us win, who else can?

You got me well - this is exactly what I am talking about.
Dignity, Statesmen, all that - admit it - you miss it too.
Want to become president ? Shovel bags of money into the networks of buinessmen owning the media and you get coverage - have a consultant teach you what to wear and how to blink. Forget about the rest.
Throw out the actors.
Rubio I do not think can be on the ticket this soon? He has not even arranged for his staff yet.
I do REALLY like Mike Pence, Palin Pence 2012 sounds pretty good
The dwindling number of PDS’er are full of sour grapes today aren’t they?
I hear what you are saying but in today's media-saturated world, it is virtually impossible for a public figure like Sarah Palin to do anything in public that is not videotaped or otherwise recorded in some manner. This makes it easy for her critics to pick and choose her more "undignified" moments to show us how unfit she is to hold public office.
Up until the last few decades, it was possible for presidents to appear always dignified for the people. They got to pick and choose when their picture or portrait would be taken and they were dressed to the nines for it. Look at any portrait of George Washington. You think he dressed that way when he did his daily rounds at Mount Vernon?
Their public addresses were carefully scripted ahead of time and because nobody was able to tape it, the newspapers could only print the text that was given to them. What if we had a video of Abraham Lincoln delivering the Gettysburg Address on YouTube? Would we have a different opinion of the Gettysburg Address if we were able to see how it was delivered live in person as opposed to reading it on a slab of marble at the very dignified and stately Lincoln Memorial?
Now George Washington and Abraham Lincoln had their unguarded moments as well. Washington probably spit tobacco juice on the White House floor and Lincoln probably went to fetch the mail in his underwear. But unlike the public figures of today, none of those moments were ever recorded for posterity so it is easy to look back to those years and think of these historical figures as absolutely perfect people who did the dignified thing always.
Now there is a double standard being applied between liberal and conservative public figures. Can you imagine the uproar if President George W. Bush ever emerged from his limousine looking like this?
The folks that listen and parrot the lamestream you mean?
Washington also had rotten teeth and a fistula in his left cheek caused by an abscess.
She was new to the big stage. Takes a while. Reagan himself came up short in ‘76. Palin - like Reagan - is a quick study. She will be fun to watch.
I don’t think Sarah is “Republican light” in any way. She’s great. Battle-tested in ways very few candidates have ever been.
I agree. We have to persuade the independents regarding Palin.
I agree. We have to persuade the independents regarding Palin.
Also on the same subject, we had Lyndon Johnson farting at cabinet meetings and peeing in the White House fireplace (true story). That is, when he wasn't picking his dogs up by the ears.
Watch Sarah’s documentary...you know...the one that Rove called a reality show.
I saw Rove backing off...once again...his claims against Sarah.
I’d say that Sarah is at +1 bazillion. lol
She’s not going to run in 2012.
