RINOs behind defeat of Tea Party candidates (Vanity)

Don't blame the Democrats for the defeat of Christine O'Doneell and Sharon Angle. The RINOs have worked hard and worked WITH the Dims to make sure that the Tea Party candidates would not win.

In Delaware, it was Karl Rove who opposed O'Donnell. In Nevada, it was a state level RINO who supported the Democrat. In Alaska, RINOs have done everything to prevent Joe Miller from winning. You can be sure that Ken Buck must have been done in by RINOs like Karl Rove.

A suggestion to hit back at them - deny RINOs the right to post on FR. If anyone brings up the claim that it is better to support a "winnable" anti-life and pro-spending candidate instead of a Tea Party candidate, how about showing zero tolerance and kicking them out instantly even if they have been around for 10 years. Surely, GOP officials use FR to their benefit. Why not pay back in their own coin? If they don't support us, why should we support them?

I seriously doubt many “RINO’s” who voted for Dems over good conservative candidates are frequenters of FR. FR is a popular site but by and large we aren’t the political powerhouse some would think we are.

Probably time to start a campaign to marginalize Rove. Dan Riehl described him perfectly: Rove is a Progressive Republican. We need to make THAT stick to him.

Jim, if I were you, I would worry about the Senate keeping Mitch McConnell as minority leader. He and Trent Lott have raised money for, and campaigned for “RINOS ONLY”. Now they intend to “co-opt” the conservative newcomers. If Mitch stays in power, forget about the great metamorphosis that we are all counting on, not to mention Mr. RINO himself, John McCain.

O'Donnell was simply an awful candidate. She came off like a spoiled child more often than not. Throw that into the reality that she was in a Blue State and that is why she lost. But the more I saw of her, she just came off awful and without even the sense of leadership about her. I hope she goes away now....though because she comes off so poorly, you can bet the MSM will look to make her a mouth piece of the GOP. She will be invited to the Sunday talk shows continually to make the GOP look a fool.

Now Angle, she just ran a terrible campaign and our base simply messed up putting her up Vs Reid. Reid was dead in the water Vs anyone who didn't make the race about themselves. Angle made the race about her and that cost us. Big time. It does seem that the RNC could have done more with the ground game there...but making up 5% in the ground game is a lot to ask for. She lost because she did not make the race all about Ried.

Where the RNC did lose it for us, outright, is in WV. That hillbilly ad they put out killed us. We were winning until the DEMs made hay of it...

Here in IN it was a libertarian running a vanity campaign that killed the Republican in the Donnelly race. Not a Rhino. But I do support sweeping the RHINO chaff from the barn.

For a while, there was a gaggle of Repub-bots (all long-time FReepers) that swarmed virtually every politics-related thread to call us “Trolls”, “Communists”, and “DU operatives”, and, when the Mods let ‘em get away with it, more unprintable names....

Then, about 3 weeks ago, I noticed that they’d all disappeared...

Perhaps the ‘purge’ you’re calling for has already been quietly taken care of....

I gots a better Idea.... why dont we just close our wallets to the GOP and send them letters telling them that when they shut Rove the hell up and start backing candidates who won primaries on the up and up that we wil turn the funds on again.... if you want to hurt the country club republicans send your money to Jim DeMints Conservative PAC. Show your displeasure with your wallet. As they say, “Money talks, BS Walks.”
