President Obama's Democratic party lost the midterm elections this week and he could very well lose his bid for a second term in 2012, according to a shocking poll released today.
Obama would lose in a hypothetical race against former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee 52 percent to 44 percent, according to CNN/Opinion Research Corp. survey.
Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney would also defeat Obama 50 percent to 45 percent in the race for the White House in 2012.

So CNN wants Romney, or Huckabee as second choice.
No thanks.

He would lose to Nixon’s corpse at this time.
Dragging these two RINOs up over and over will just steal my reserve to make sure they stay out of the WH.

Huckabee or Romney in 2012 White House race If you MUST pick one, which will it be?
No contest: Huckabee!
Why? Because back in the day he was a very good friend to FR.

We need someone who is basically a conservative economic policy expert. Someone who can take a strong position that government borrowing and spending does not lead to economic growth (for example) and then articulate that position in the debates in a way that educates the voters.
This should eliminate Romney and Huckabee. They both believe in the concept of stimulus. Jindall, Daniels, or Pence may fit the bill.

Palin would lose to Obama now and she would lose 2012.
Those that think otherwise just think Angle/Reid or Coons/O’Donnell.
The goal is to get rid of Obama, period.
If Palin is the nominee Obama will have four more years and you can carve it in a rock.

We need a Patton-style candidate. We The People have a lot of cleaning to do at every level of government.
RINO’s that sell the country and their Party out for their own power need not apply.

Just trying to get this correct, Gov Palin is bad Romney the architect of obamaCare and a liberal is the better choice.
Is that what you are saying?
Angle and O’Donnal lost because they were trashed by the GOP who would rather have a RINO than a conservative. A lot of that going on these days..

I'm still guessing it will be none of the usual suspects. Maybe someone with a military background, to soothe a frightened electorate. We haven't elected a General in this country since 1956. Zero still has ample time to screw up the wars and defense as badly as he's screwed up the economy.

Thats a great combo.
But first, the progressives have to be stripped of their money men who support them. That will be the emnd of the Roves, Rombeys and Huckabee progressives.
That is themext task of the commservative movement, convincing them money menn who empower progressives that their days are over.
Rove has shown he will not go quietly with the way he treated O’Donnell. The real battle now begins. We need to fight that battle the way Reagan did it. And you know Sarah is on it already.
There are any number who could run with Sarah, but I would like to see her in charge, and running with a fellow conservative, not with a progressive.

I like Huck...you don’t think he could get an economic whiz in there to run with him? Do Pence and Daniels have the name cred at this point?
Hell, for economic policy how about Rand Paul? He could be like Obama...sit in the Senate for a couple years and then think he’s ready to be President.
In Paul’s case, he may be. :)
To: RobinMasters
Romney will be a credible threat, don’t dismiss him. He is very bright, a good debater, and has bottomless funds. I don’t trust him as far as I can kick him, but he will be very difficult to knock off in a loaded primary with multiple conservatives splitting the vote.
To: RobinMasters
The swill will be that any RINO can beat Obamao, but conservatives need not apply. No thanks! RINO’s need not apply for my vote.
