Two Republican lawmakers are battling to lead the powerful House Financial Services Committee in the next Congress. Rep. Spencer Bachus (R-Ala.), the panel's ranking member, and Rep. Ed Royce (R-Calif.) are competing for the chairmanship of the committee that oversees bank regulators and Wall Street. (Snip) The chairmanship of the Financial Services panel is a plum prize for lawmakers, given its enormous sway over the financial sector. The committee has more than 70 members and is now led by Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.), who helped push a sweeping reform of Wall Street through Congress.

He needs to go. An investigation into Freddie and Fannie should also be a priority. They keep protecting both money pits.
They should at least strip any power he has..
Yes-SWIFT investigations needed to continue the clean-up prior to 2012.
Barney Freakin’ Frank needs to be throughly investigated and I don’t mean by his boy friend. Jail time would be icing on the cake.
Next on the list... any one of them.
And Republican leaders... MULTITASK, like 0 did.
Get ‘er done or your gone!
That committee chairmanship should go to Ron Paul. He’s the only one on the committee who actually understands banking.
Put some charges on his a##
Kick his ass OUT!! Move his office to the basement men’s room. He needs a wide stance stall, btw.
Woo hoo!! I second the motion! All in favor of auditing (and shutting down) the corrupt feds, signify by posting AYE!!
AYE!!
I’d feel a lot better with some new blood in the position.
With attitude!
I’d like to see him put up in his own ‘suite’ at Club Fed...
Wow. You forgot the "/sarc". Ron Paul believes in the Constitution. That makes him a "moonbat"! The GOP will never, ever let him have a powerful position. They hate him waaay more than Barney Frank.
When? When the Republicans have unimpeachable majorities in the house AND senate. Then, my friend, we go hunting RATs.
AYE!!
AYE!!
Which one will be best at running the investigation? That should be the deciding factor between them.
The damage has already been done.
They should be putting together an investigation of Fwank, to see just how his “leadership” has helped damage this country!! Can I say dick breath here?
‘The damage has already been done.’
And what does that mean? We let them flatten us into bits? NUTS! We get the majorities and rip them a new orifice or two. Then we go after their ‘friends’ in the big unions, big banks, audit the fed, go into their bank accounts, their off shore accounts, their closets stuffed with cash, their dirty gangter friends, and on and on.
We find another J. Edgar Hoover, and another Elliot Ness and make the bastards pay. And while that is going on, we look into their appointments on every level of this government. YES WE CAN make a new day in this country.
