Conn. Secretary Of State: I Have No Answers On Gov Race
CBS ^

Posted on 11/04/2010 7:04:12 PM PDT by Chet 99

There was election drama in Connecticut on Thursday.

Two days after residents cast their votes, they’re still waiting for word on who will be their next governor. Connecticut’s secretary of state said she can’t tell the media who the next governor is, even though she did just that unofficially on Wednesday.

Susan Bysiewicz, a Democrat, unofficially declared Democrat Dan Malloy the likely governor-elect on the day after the election, but now, it seems, vote tally snags in Bridgeport is preventing her verifying her own prediction.

She spoke with CBS 2’s Lou Young in Hartford on Thursday afternoon.

“The numbers that we got yesterday were numbers that were given to us by an election official over the phone, but we do not have the returns,” Bysiewicz said. “We are waiting as you are and I don’t have anything really more to add.”

When she was asked if she was advising the media to forget about what she said Wednesday about the numbers from Bridgeport, Bysiewicz said, “I am reminding you that I gave you unofficial numbers. Our numbers are on our Web site, but I cannot compel Bridgeport to prepare their return and give it to us.”

So, officially, Republican Tom Foley is ahead by 8,400 votes, but Bridgeport, the largest city in the state, is expected to erase that lead.

Given enough time and lawyers they will erase his lead and once again no investigations into voter fraud will be made.

This was the most brazen election heist I’ve witnessed in a long, long time. Out of the classic DNC voter fraud playbook ala Chicago 1960.

Hey, give her a break, it takes time to manufacture enough votes to steal an election...

That sound you hear is Democrats searching for votes.

Dont’s worry. As soon as they find enough, the election will be called. For the democrat, of course.

If you can’t win legitimately, cheat!! (reverse 9-1-1, a great way to reach voters)

The RATS used all the stops in this one.

Step 1: Order too few ballots
Step 2: Create a “crisis” by running out of ballots, so that photocopies are used instead (without a sequential number)
Step 3: Cry to a crony judge about how people are getting “disenfranchised”
Step 4: Get the judge to “extend” the voting hours while you figure out how many votes you need.
Step 5: Make up your margin of error in those extra few hours by hiding votes in a closet.
Step 6: Bring them out when you have to in order to push your guy over the edge.

Keep in mind that Blumenthal sent out an e-mail to voters in the inner cities LOOKING for extra turnout because it was too low. Then they end up with like 40% turnout. Something smells more than usual in Bridgeport.

Is this a ‘Soros Secretary of State’ perchance?

SOS Bysiewicz has forgotten this phrase:

“Oh what a web we weave when first we practice to deceive.”
Sir Walter Scott, from the poem “Marmion”.

Secretary of State Susan Bysiewicz and her office needs to be investigated.
What an embarrassment and an outrage, ridiculous!

What kind of naked, bald face lying is THAT?! She's the Secretary of State! She most certainly can compel Bridgeport to get their sh!t together and get the ballots in!

Hi, the reverse 911 thing used in Bridgeport, doesn’t that procedure have to be initiated by a police officer or high up town official?

she did this so if Foley manages to squeak by, the media will claim Foley “stole” the election. while this is going on, trunks of forgotten ballots will be arriving daily.

Perfectly done. That is exactly what happened. You want to come to CT and help us fight off this corruption? Whoops, your probably busy in NY fighting your own crooks.

“In what has become one of the stranger twists in an already bizarre Governor’s race, a bag of uncounted ballots was found in Bridgeport Thursday night.

Republican officials were approached by Democratic operatives and told about the surprise ballot bag, according to Bridgeport GOP Chairman Marc Delmonico.

Delmonico said Democrats asked to have several people deputized to count the uncounted ballots, but Republicans objected, claiming that wasn’t proper procedure in the vote-counting process.

Instead the GOP asked police to take custody of the bag of ballots until the matter could be sorted out...”

There is a ballot factory or two running somewhere near Bridgeport.

Wonder how many people are involved, where they are, and how they might be found. I wonder if the State Police can find one, or does it take national Guard troops?

Maybe there are a bunch of union guys on vacation this week, not at their regular jobs?

A bust at a ballot factory would be a spike through the heart of this type of fraud.

Finding 100 provisional ballots with the same fingerprints might do it...

Isn’t someone going to get suspicious whe all the close races are won by Democrats where the Sec of State is a Democrat? Nope, just coincidence.
