This is a serious inquiry as I am beginning to see little daylight between the attitudes of either organization – merely a different set of priorities. One group is a fanatical tribe of overzealous control freaks who insist on subjugating everyone in their corner of the globe to their pious belief systems through any torturous means necessary.
The other group is hiding in Pakistan.

Government is completely and totally out of control in CA. I say the conservatives pack up and leave. It’ll collapse in days.
This is the premise of Atlas Shrugged and I'm thinking that letting it collapse under it's own weight is the only way out.
Unlike the majority of Californians, my family goes back a long ways in the state (my grandmother was born on a prune farm in Rutherford in 1898), my great grandfather immigrated from Ireland to Visalia in the 1870's (OK, he had poor judgment in location selection, I admit that). Point is, I do not want to leave, but my wife retires with full medical in two years.
We are counting the days.
