Obama Directly Attacks Bill's Presidency, Blames It For Massive Dem Losses
TPM Central ^ | February 6, 2008 | By Greg Sargent

In what may be Obama's most direct and aggressive criticism of Bill Clinton's presidency yet, the Obama campaign dropped a new mailer just before Super Tuesday that blasts "the Clintons" for wreaking massive losses on the Democratic party throughout the 1990s.

"8 years of the Clintons, major losses for Democrats across the nation," reads the mailer, which goes on to list the post-1992 losses suffered by Dems among governors, Senators and members of the House of Representatives. The mailer was forwarded to us by a political operative who told us it was sent to Alaska, though it was probably sent elsewhere, too.

Clinton was reelected because the Republicans nominated one of the world's worst presidential candidates in Bob Dole.

Obozo has been a colossal failure. But if the Republicans nominate Dole part deux, he will be reelected.

Obama will announce in early 2012: “”I shall not seek, and I will not accept, the nomination of my party for another term as your president,” paving the way for Hillary to save the Obama legacy: Obamacare. All part of the game.

One of my favorite Michael Savage quotes: “So, who can the Republicans can run in 2012? And if anyone mentions Mitt Romney, I’m going to break something. In fact, they’re so clueless they’d probably run John McCain again.”

Bob Dole was doing pretty well in the polls until a Democrat plant convinced him to do a campaign ad with an aerobics machine. Nobody liked the sight of his bony old legs. And no wonder voter turnout in 1996 was only 49%.

After 4 years of Bill Clinton, I was sickened when Americans reelected him to a second term.

I hope to never again have that feeling, especially with a Marxist, America-hating Kenyan POS who called American citizens the enemy.

Dems lost because Americans could feel the hatred generated by Obama and the Democratic Party directed at ordinary citizens.

Americans fought back... to put Obama in his place.

Looking forward to Obama's impeachment.

Some people think he would have been a better president than his brother. From what I hear, Jeb was the son the family wanted to be president. Dubya was seen as being a drunk and a party animal who would never amount to anything. No chance of Jeb ever being elected now though, seeing as to how Americans aren’t into the dynasty thing.

Getting back to Clinton, if he had been a one-term president, we would have at least been spared MonicaGate, Elian GonzalesGate, and Los AlamosGate.

True enough though I actually think McCain was worse.

The GOP needs to do better...much better. If they can't they don't deserve to win.

I really don't think there will be an impeachment. It's political poison. Conservatives need to manuever and defund obama's agenda, but Obama is the best advertisement we could have for a reason to side with the right against the left.

You know, if 0bama is comparing himself to Clinton, he’s making a big mistake.

Those numbers are from 8 years of Bill & Hill.

0bama lost more in his first 2 years!

found it...

“I’ve been doing that with this White House, and they just don’t seem to give it any credibility at all,” Berry said. “They just kept telling us how good it was going to be. The president himself, when that was brought up in one group, said, ‘Well, the big difference here and in ’94 was you’ve got me.’ We’re going to see how much difference that makes now.”

The Bob Dole for President campaign convinced me that I am not a republican, confirmed again and again with every election since, by the big spending progressive republican majorities and the 'compassionate conservatism' of Bush the younger.

Republicans need to stop using polls to justify their watered down principles and progressive voting records. I know I'm not the only politically homeless Independent Reagan Republican and I thank you TEA party for standing up and speaking out!

I looked at the date. My point is that this scenario would already be a at least a possibility as far as “the planners” are concerned so why would he be tearing them down. I would guess that when he is out of here if he does all that they want him to do whether popular or not that he will be promoted up to a world level high position.
