NEW YORK (CBS) After a suffering a shellacking in the midterm elections, President Obama acknowledges what many have seen as his chief weakness failing to sell the importance of several legislative milestones to the American people.
I think thats a fair argument.

Nope. The communications skills were righteously mocked, as they should be, but it was the policies that really humped the proverbial goat.
lol...is anyone buying his schtick anymore?
Yup. He still doesn't get it. In the unforgettable words of Bugs Bunny, "What a maroon!" Barack Obama is the newest member of The Looney Tunes gang.
Yes, and it’s a CBS source! Heartwarming to say the least-—I wonder how the clinton machinery is moving these days?
I read the bills. Zero’s failure was his inability to lie better to hide the REAL intent of the Progressives coup.
He tried to communicate the DNC’s vision of an American version of European socialism with a massive Federal organ, and I do mean organ, to probe every aspect of business and private life with intrusions and “attitude adjustments” made in the psyche of every citizen.
I read the bills. So did many others who came armed with them to the now defunct TownHall fiasco.
Sorry Zero, it isn’t that we didn’t understand you. We understood you ALL TOO WELL.
What YOU and your fellows don’t understand is that WE REFUSE your vision of a statist America.
You and any elected official govern at the consent of the governed and trying to paint everyone as the great unwashed is simply a fool’s errand.
Well, well, well, to think the media told us this schmuck is soooo articulate, such a great orator and now we find out he has a communication problem.
F U B O !!
Nope--especially all the dems who just got fired by the American (TP) Voters!
This guy is such a dumbass.
Palin is 5 times smarter than this bumbler.
I’m not even tired of the politics after an election season...
Onward to 2012 !
I’ve met guys like that.
They were waiting at the bus stop for transportation to take them to the mental health center.
Poor Obambi - he’s not getting the reaction that he wanted from the public. He thought that they’d agree with all his policies just like his students did (at least those that wanted an “A” in his class).
Fact is, he sold and sold and sold, and the public did not want to buy. His products are all flawed, and only those that are getting them at someone else’s expense stand a chance of wanting what he offers. But even some of the freeloaders know that most of what Obambi has proposed would serve only to bite the hand that feeds them.
Seems the dems want to apply legislative viagra to the federal organ, whereas the people want to give it the "Lorena Bobbit" treatment.
The bug on America’s Windshield...
The American people are unimaginably stupid and uninformed. They are incapable of grasping what's best for them. That's why they voted for ME.
My thoughts exactly. We were told what a superior communicator he was, and how, after W, it would be so good to have such an articulate, eloquent erudite speaker in the oval office.
What a fool.
There was no problem at all with the skills of the salesman (Obama) or understanding what he had to sell.
It was the product, the snake-oil, that was rejected. Kerry couldn’t have sold it, Billary couldn’t have sold it, none of them could have - it was what it was; the invasion of the Federal government into the lives and the economy of the people.
Obamadinejad doesn't get it.
Like this comment there..”The sooner we can get ths guy out building homes with Habitat and flying to North Korea with the first Jimmy Carter, the better.”
Ask him, does that make him “The Poor Communicator”
Obama was the first president ever to call himself the “great communicator”
This doesn’t bother me at all. Let him think this. It’s only going to make him think he can continue with his agenda. And we will have to deal w/ another GOP “defeat” in 2012. Darn.
